- OwO³ reported an issue where fungal gravel from the Ideology DLC could only be placed under the mountain rock roof, so added a patch for the Ideology DLC to address this issue, which lifted the restriction and allows fungal gravel to be placed anywhere.

Note :
This update may ruin the atmosphere of underground life, but if you value the atmosphere, please play by growing mushrooms only in caves.

Hello OwO³.
Yes. It can only be placed underneath overhead mountain. This means that if you use this mod that removes the rock roof of the mountain, as you are having trouble with, you will not be able to use it.

You can enable or disable this mod in the mod list as needed. Changing it mid-game will not affect your save data. After removing the unnecessary roofing, disabling this mod is the quickest solution. Please try it. Thank you.

I'm glad the cause was found. Thank you for your hard work in checking.

It's probably a type of mod "Geological Landforms" that overwrites existing Core terrain data when generating a map. If rewrite the map, that's the correct way to eliminate the problem.

Dll is constantly overwriting the terrain content, so it may be difficult to maintain compatibility... :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

If the error is only logged and it is possible to remove the roof by selecting the pawn directly and then selecting a command with the mouse, there is also a way to remove this mod from the mod list after removing it.

I'll decide what I want to do about it on my side. I don't expect you to patch your stuff unless you're just interested in doing so. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction to resolve this.

The only patch I created is to change the remove sound and removing the roof and collapsed rocks. The part related to Job has not been changed at all.

Sorry to trouble you, but save the current MOD list and try to see if the same error will occur, with only Core, 4 DLCs and this MOD.
If there is no error, it seems that one of the mods you are using interferes.

In particular, mods that change the ceiling in the same way (for example, Raise The Roof or RoofBomb etc) are incompatible with this mod. Rewrite the attributes changed by the patch during the game. Thank you.

Yes. I understand that such problems occur due to the thickness of the ceiling.

The easiest solution is to remove this mod from your mod list once you've removed the ceiling you want to remove. And add it to the list when you need it again.

It's above Rocketman and Performance Optimizer in the mod list, but it's fine to put it at the bottom of the list. Please try this. Thank you.

The mod is breaking vanilla fungal farming. Not a big problem, because you can remove the thick roof and disable the mod, but still.

If the talent added in Ideology has an indoor desire, it should be a Mt.rock roofing. This mod will make the ceiling normal, so recommend disabling it if you don't need to remove the ceiling.

There's a problem with the mod:
While it's active, the "Indoor" need will not go over 50% and "fungal gravel" cannot be built. I don't think it's something you can fix, so better only enable the mod when one needs to remove a piece of mountain roof...

That's right. From the pirates and the mechanoid factions, all the ceilings are visible with the ordinary roof. Therefore, enable Mod only when necessary.
You can remove it from the saved data in the middle or add it later.

Even in vanilla, there was a drop pod that rarely fell on the rock-mountain roof and died instantly. Such a story may fit RimWorld.

It may be interesting to use mods that intercept fallout (ex: Anti-Air Artillery ) and shield mods (ex: ED-Shields ).

That's epic, I was thinking "what's the point in making a cave base when raiders can just drop pod in anyway, I mean I guess no infestation but a dude dropping onto my dog with a chain shotgun and power armour is kinda rough"

So once you've removed the ceiling you need, disable this mod. You can activate it again whenever you need it. Even if you enable/disable it in the save game, you don't have to worry about the game breaking. :steamthumbsup:

The answer is yes!

This mod makes the mountain-rock roof the same as the ceiling so that they can be removed. Therefore, the pirates can see the ceiling, not the mountain-rock roofs. So their drop pods will break through the mountain-rock roof and fall into your colonist beds. :WHII_Death:

Wait, I just had a big brain moment, is this mod the reason that my colonies keep getting wiped out by drop pod raids dropping straight into my mountain base? XD
