Still works in 2025. Thank you Mauseri for making these amazing missions! and even though a lot are broken I still had fun by watching Kodabar's Ravage videos on YouTube and experiencing your missions through him. Anyways, hope your having a good day or at least a better day than previous days!

Just finished this with just under 12 hours time. 57 game loads that would take several minutes each was the worst part. :steamthumbsup:

I forgot how long this story is. gladly plunged into it again. Everything is still working, only I had to swim 1 kilometer to the king himself in order to eliminate him . Super.

Ok, stuck again. I still haven't completed the task to destroy the three boats - I only found one of them.


Ok there are 3 boats moored in the harbour with 2 guards watching over them you must get onto the island opposite the boats, where you will find the 3 mortars destroy the mortars and then destroy the 3 boats using rpg you'll find in the shed

Ok, stuck again. I still haven't completed the task to destroy the three boats - I only found one of them.

I'm over on the main island now. I think I've found pretty much all of the intel. I found the intel that tells me where the King's hideout is and I got the briefing to meet Seamus so he can take there ... but Seamus is not there where I'm supposed to meet him.

Hi Mauseri, how do I interact with traders and Seamus ? tried the mouse wheel scroll etc nothing happens, what am I doing wrong? Feels like I'm missing something.

Task is to destroy the mortars & boats. There are three boats, but only one will allow me to blow it up. I'm kinda' stuck, the task doesn't want to complete. Are there more boats in another place that I have to find & blow up?

so on the main road out of the town with the two traders there is that hill area, and I decided to use up the m60 since it was slowing down my charecter significantly. But the zombies kept spawning despite them being in eyesight and less then 300 meters away, is that just a consequence of Ravage being Ravage or is it a bug? Also they stopped spawing once I moved up on them, so it wasn't game ending, just a bit frustrating. Anyways love the mission and am still playing as I haven't died so far, thanks for the great missions!

I have to say, that I love this mission. But I am having this issue. When I save and load during mission, it works. But since I leave the mission, I cannot load the game anymore. Only start a new one..

this missions pretty good, i think you've outdone yourself again mauseri but how do you give your AI companions guns? currently they don't do anything but i want them to be able to defend themselves, is that at all possible?

FiftyCz wasn't there a jeep in front of the first "big" bandit base, the Hotel Something? On the first island? I might remember it wrong though, its been a while since I re-visited this one...

A big praise to you for this diligence. Everything worked perfectly. I am very impressed by the work you put into this epic scenario. These many hints and texts, everything wonderfully linked. Strong is also the balance of friend and foe, accessories and interior. Particularly praiseworthy are the well-placed enemies, the lovingly designed buildings and equipment. And that the scenario continues after the main event is the point on the i.
Many, many thanks for your incredible work. I think that this scenario is one of the best of all and I know a lot!

varus no you wont see you in the map, but you can see where you are in the beginning... the ION base, right? So you have to use the map itself and the compass to find your way in Tanoa...

But he is also a messy person, because he keeps his things so scattered... tzzz, tzzz :))

varus did you notice theres a second building in the start-up base, a bunker just nearby the house? There is a compass... and you will not see yourself in the map in this mission, that is why I wanted to make sure in the very beginning you have a compass.... for orienteering

Just first thoughts:
- the second task, gather equipment, can't be fulfilled, maybe because there is no compass
- the position of the player isn't to see on the map

ROBAX Thanks. Have to say I'm kinda satisfied too about how this mission turned out to be...

About the random AI... I had it at first, but there was so many tasks involving killing a certain set of people, and the random AI, often spawning around towns and such, kinda messed those tasks up by bringing extra dudes into to those situations... You get a message that you killed all bandits from a camp, but there was still those random AI folks near you? Sooo, I dumped the randoms...

(Second half) I think it could have used ravage random AI squads as I missed having things to do like battles in the cities. It was very quiet overall. This could have used a lot more zeds, especially bolters, crawlers etc. It could also have used a lot more AI as each mission was very brief with 3-4 enemies. It took me three weeks to play and I only died about 5 times so the difficulty is very low and could go up. The load times were very long but that did not bother me. I like having a big long scenario rather than small ones. I also avoided using the NVGs apart from a couple of times driving. I had Enhanced Movement but was very careful not to climb over walls where I might trigger something. I took a linear approach to destinations. That worked fine. Oh and also great were all the hand-made locations.. best ever! Also, that Ravage guide should help a lot of people get started.. another thing well done. I read where you’re working on another.. yes please!

(First half) Hi Mauseri. Finally completed this. Best zombie mission in the workshop and the best one I've played, and I've played them all as you know. This one was almost like a wishlist of everything I want in a Ravage scenario. Best bits: heaps of intel, heaps of tasks, heaps of storyline and no bugs! One thing I particularly liked was how I had to leave most of my gear behind on each of the lower islands and only take what I could carry. That is a great way to force the player to gear up again. Being over-geared is always a problem with these things, and it did become a problem on the main island where there was just loads of everything, way too much gear and food and all that. I liked the boxes and bags for loot way better than the awful Ravage loot but again.. just way too much stuff. Survival didn’t really happen as is the case with most scenarios. I liked being made to visit many locations I've never been. I liked going from linear to open world.

Unfortunately I had to abandon the mission as I found the saving and loading to be very interrupting to the flow of gameplay and my own style. However, I'm sure others will be fine with it. I'm definitely following your work. You're one of the few good Ravage SP mission creators still out there. You totally scratch the itch for my 'perfect Ravage SP openworld, persistent scenario' desire that I haven't been able to satisfy.

Dante the save files are massive... during my final test play they got over 400 megs... This I believe is mainly because of the about 10000 (yep!) objects I placed on the map, and the about 200+ handplaced AI enemies. I know this effs up the flow. My only advice is... don't die? But seriously, I was almost all done with this mission when I first thought about the savefile sizes, and at that point, it was kinda too late.

But I appreciate the feedback. I hope you have the patience to play through this... please tell me if you do!

My next mission I promise will be made MUCH lighter... coming out in maybe a few weeks from now...

Hey man. Another good scenario from you I see. You're easily my favourite creator for ARMA 3 scenarios. Only feedback I have so far is that saving takes nearly a full minute, which is very difficult and can often disrupt the flow of gameplay. Dunno why this is, but can you look into it?

But I'm not sure if I can do nothing about that.... while testing, I went in that house like 50 times, that never happened to me... but I have seen that happen to a car while replacing a tire on a bridge... first I thought it disappeared, but then I saw it crash-land like 30 meters away from me.... arma physics, yay!

Have you double checked you have all the mods listed? And steam workshop versions, not any outdated stuff from armahollic or elsewhere...?

Or are you using any mods other than whats listed?

And is your Arma updated?

I downloaded this from workshop, tried it, worked fine...

And what kind of hardware are you running...? You got any muscle?

Maui they are not hordes made with a horde module... It just seems that way because of the regular zombie-spawn mechanics settings I used. They should clean up...

Few? Ok I walked to the next village its spaw a horde. I kill enemys and arround the bodys spawning a horde. After the task near the airfield on the way it spawning a lot of Zombies ( not a problem for my M60) I now I Van run away but my PC is very old and slow.
