I think a good update would be to make the "Laboratory counter" only available with research.
I started a run as Neolithic and there was the "Laboratory counter" available for me to build

mod link the mech--comm station wich is 2x1 requires it to be placed on the research bench its self but requires the 2x5 one as it has a requirement to be placed the same direction as the bench and also detects the end of the bench as a requirment

Would it be possible to have compatibility with Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Sophian Style? It adds a style texture for the comm console that doesn't work with your smaller comm console texture.

@Ataxius I think textures are better to handle via patches, there are lots of retexture mods to look at for reference

Hello, could there be an option to disable different textures in this mod? For example, I would like to use this for the Comms Console retexture/smaller size, but I would prefer not to retexture the Multi-Analyzer or Research Bench and Cherrypicker does not allow you to disable textures.

the insulation of the leviathan armour is a bit high, any chance of bringing it down to the level of vanilla power armour?

I'm kinda confused as to the point of the laboratory station, uses the same power as the high tech lab, the only thing different about it is the fact that it as 10% slower research speed.

@Skullywag Tested this and had no issues with only this mod loaded. You may have other mod-issues, this mod only changes the size and gfx of the bench.

Not sure if its this mod, but its the only mod I have that touches the high tech research bench, I couldnt study a powerfocus chip until i put down a normal research bench, im pretty sure you should be able to use the high tech one.

The Hospital Expanded runs terrible on 1.3 as it will turn all icons of most(maybe all) prosthetics and organs into pink sqare tiles with a cross in the middle. This error doesn't show up anymore until I replaced that one with this one. It has been bothering me a lot for couple days until I finally find these smaller benches again.

On Creation Engine at least i can use xEdit or the Creation Kit, that require no coding xD

@SetArk Well the trouble is that the HighTech research-bench is a static reference. That is, its just one item in the game code. There is no simple way to just say "this is also a high tech bench".

Ohhhh that explains it. I thought that they would be able to be used for all research.
Could be possible to add a toggle on mod options?
Or add a advanced versions of them for having them as advanced research? (Maybe they can use Plasteel and Advanced Components? Sprite-wise they could just be the same but, lighter tone of blue)
Or too much of a chance from the original mod?

Sorry to come back again with another problem.
Strangely enough, the side machines, beeing the research terminal and laboratory station seem erratic, of when they are able to be used for research.
It seems like, randomly they are able to be used, them puff, they stop beeing "research tables"
Any idea?
I'm starting to think of them as just research boosters and will just add more and more High Tech Research tables if i have more researchers.

@Blitzred Should be safe to add, the researchbench just gets smaller. Not changed anything about the armor since I took over
