@Avanya great mod, I've used it to set up distribution centres all around my city. I'm trying to edit the spawn points of the warehouses but they don't seem to show at all in the asset editor? Would you mind sharing how these can be moved/removed and re added?

@notalbanian Actually, there is a workaround to making the UPS/FedEx/DHL/etc buildings into postal buildings.

Clip this asset into them: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1863437449

AuGur- theres a reason to get both: you can setup an industrial and warehouse district, in an even matched look.
AuGuR 10 Jun, 2019 @ 3:00pm
Is there any reason to NOT get both versions of the collections?

These assets are great! Is there any way to convert the UPS/FedEx/etc buildings into mail buildings?

Thank you for the heads up :)

Hello, I came across a thing that is certanly not necessarily needed to fix, but when you simply want to sub to everything in this collection without searching for any other dependent assets there is still (at least) one thing missing, >> air duct 4 <<
It took me some time to find out why it's not working, maybe it can help others as well. :)
Strategy Nerd 19 Feb, 2019 @ 2:42pm
Ok, that's fine. I'll use V1 as RICO/ both and V2 as storage only. :)
Avanya  [author] 19 Feb, 2019 @ 5:02am
@Strategy Nerd: Looks like Ploppable RICO can't tell them apart and so both versions or the DLC versions get converted into RICO buildings. If you unsubscribe from the RICO version, the DLC versions will show up. Not sure what has changed as I didn't have this problem when I released them. There's nothing I can do I'm afaid, as I'd need to change the names to fix it, which would cause the buildings to disappear in people's cities. I guess we'll just have to pick which version to use.
Avanya  [author] 19 Feb, 2019 @ 4:20am
@Strategy Nerd: Are you sure you're subscribed to the right versions? I tested all these assets and they all showed up in the warehouse category like they should. The RICO versions shouldn't interfere with that (I even had some subscribed myself when I did the testing). Not sure what could have changed or what mods could be messing things up for you. The Industries DLC versions have the Industries logo on their thumbnail pictures in the Content Manager so they should be pretty easy to tell apart.
Strategy Nerd 19 Feb, 2019 @ 3:40am
Hmm. If that's the case, then the Industries version isn't showing up anywhere... I will do tests with Find It! later and describe it more accurately.
Avanya  [author] 19 Feb, 2019 @ 1:58am
@Strategy Nerd: Yeah, that's the RICO version you're seeing. They're parks without the mod and stick around in the menu even with the mod.
Strategy Nerd 18 Feb, 2019 @ 4:59pm
Could it have to do with my also having the RICO version?
Strategy Nerd 18 Feb, 2019 @ 4:53pm
The Distribution Center 2 shows up in Parks for me, is this happening to anyone else?
Avanya  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 3:09am
@derJJschonwieder: That would be true for mods, but assets (buildings, props, trees, vehicles, citizens, roads and so on) have their settings in the editor. A few things are hidden, but most are easy to edit. :)
derJJschonwieder 1 Feb, 2019 @ 3:04am
Thanks, and don't worry, won't upload anything;).
Just did not know how to alter mods in cities skylines in general. In most other games one has to dig through some .lua files or similar stuff
Avanya  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 2:36am
@derJJschonwieder: You can do that in the asset editor. Just make sure to disable most mods since some of them hide the UI in the editor, so you can't edit things. It's the Properties window on the bottom right. Keep in mind that you can't upload it to the workshop though. :)
derJJschonwieder 31 Jan, 2019 @ 4:59am
is is somhow possible to change the values of the warehouses (number of trucks, max. Storage) for myself localy? I had a look at the file, but can't find the part that i would have to edit ;)
Jackkk 12 Jan, 2019 @ 9:37pm
Good!!!
Stinky winkle 30 Nov, 2018 @ 8:23am
Nick, why not look at SvenBerlin's signs, they're easily attached using the Move It! mod?
Space Coconut 18 Nov, 2018 @ 3:32am
@avanya didnt even think of that but already found the logo if anyone else wants to do that here is the link to the logo https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1178887774&searchtext=amazon+logo
Avanya  [author] 16 Nov, 2018 @ 8:53am
@The Mountain: Probably not. There's just so many variation I have to stop somewhere, otherwise I'll never make anything else. :P But if you're lucky someone will make a logo and then you can just place it on the buildings (either not subscribing to the logo needed or replace it with Prop It Up mod). :)

Any possible chance of adding amazon prime delivery too only asking cause I drive for them and would love to see it in game

Thank You!
Avanya  [author] 26 Oct, 2018 @ 6:25am
@Imparfecto: It's in the train menu right next to the original version. :P
Imparfecto 26 Oct, 2018 @ 2:56am
One other thing I was wondering, where is it exactly that I will find the mirrored version of the railway? I've been scouting all my different menus but could never find it lol.
Imparfecto 26 Oct, 2018 @ 2:55am
Larger size would be great, even if it was just the long piece made much longer. One thing I've noticed in the industrial areas, is that they become so heavy on traffic, even when you've got rail, ship and plane connections for exporting. Then there's low traffic flow at junctions, so the less of them the better, and that would be a bit easier to do with even one really long piece which could still be used with the smaller ones ^^

Only if you're wanting to though! I'm really enjoying your assets on CS, been using them for a long time so thank you! ^^
Avanya  [author] 26 Oct, 2018 @ 2:25am
@Imparfecto: Everything is balanced around the footprint. The largest warehouse takes up 312 squares, the largest piece here takes up 96 squares. You shouldn't be able to store the same amount on 96 squares as on 312. If you place 3 of the largest pieces together though, you'll be pretty close to what the largest warehouse stores taking up a little bit less space. I'm not gonna make something that's completely out of line with the default values, sorry.

If you'd like a larger assets around the size of the largest warehouse in this style, that's something I can do and have considered. It will ofc be less flexible as it's a fixed size unlike these modular bits, but I imagine it can have it's uses.
Teh_Doctah 25 Oct, 2018 @ 6:02pm
So glad to see this updated for the DLC. MAkes me even more eager for i to go on sale, if I can even wait for that.
Imparfecto 25 Oct, 2018 @ 3:05pm
Thank you for these assets! :D I was just wondering if you would ever create another version with increased storage capacity that is more in line with the vanilla settings? The largest warehouse can store over 700k worth of goods, and the long modular piece is about 230k or so. ^^
brotherbonz 24 Oct, 2018 @ 7:17am
I actually tapped my feet on the floor and clapped with glee when I saw this... thank you :)
