Sounds like you have an older local copy in your mods folder. Everything online is up to date. You cn delete the local copy if you subscribe to the steam version.

the game is telling me steam version of your mod that there is a update even though you say its up2date which is really odd

Tried rebinding the scroll wheel, but there's no option for that in the game settings. The wider scroll bar works great though.

Let me see if I can make it larger. I still cant separate the functions. You can as an alternative bind another key combination for zoom in the options of the game if it really bugs you.

Nope, PC. I've been using the scrollbar but it's tiny (my screen is 3440x1440) and hard to "grab".

You must be on a console. Folks have reported that on console. If not use the scroll bar on the right instead of a wheel. There isnt a way I can separate that. Its a weird overlap of functions when using certain hardware.

Any way to get the game to not zoom in and out while scrolling the MCR window? Maybe make it pause the game like when you go into any of the built in panels/menus/windows/dialogues?

I'm on PC. I have upped all my choggi and silva mods to the latest release. Hmm. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

ChoGGi switched all his mods to the built in in game mod config, which I wont do for my mods. Mod Config Reborn has a few slicker things in it that until the devs add to the built in version I wont use. If the old mods are any other mods other than mine, choggi or silva I suspect they needs some updating. Also, what system do you use, pc or console?

I saw the scroll bar but it won't go down any lower. Perhaps the older mods aren't working with mod config reborn? I was sure ChoGGi's mods would work.

I can't seem to find the options of other mods. The window seems too small to hold many mods. The thing that takes up all the space is auto-tourism mod. I can't see the options for the omega unlocks all slowly for example

I can´t seem to find the menu options, used the old one used to work fine, now it tells me I NEED this one, and I don´t even have the competitive expansion. Help anyone?

Oh and I meant to include a big "Thanks" for updating the Mod Config mod for the latest game version. I only started Surviving Mars this month and have found Mod Config Reborn very useful so again, thanks, this mod is much appreciated

As a suggestion for the Players section, it's worth mentioning that you access the Mod Config options through the main menu when you are in game . I keep expecting to see it in the main menu before I start a game and forget that you have to actually be in game to access it.

Modders: Please note the change to reference code for g_ModConfigLoaded now says false instead of nil. See guide examples. This should be updated in all your mods and will help prevent errors when folks dont load ModConfig or turn it off.

@chino, sorry you missed the beta for Space Race. its the next DLC, patch named Gagarin. People are going to be happy with it.

Guide updated with a "Prepare old mods for Reborn" section to help modders get ready for Gagarin patch.

Ok. Anyone with the beta running can load this version. It is a release candidate. More updates will surely come. But keep in mind it will not use the previous mod config data, nor will it work well with any mod that has not been updated to use it. Which sorta make it useless for now except to see its GUI work and report bugs. Not even my mods on the workshop use it, since if I upload my mods, they wont be available in the Sagan patch (dif lua version) so I didnt upload the new versions which are all ready for day zero. So why have it? If you mod you need to use it now to prep for Gagarin. Otherwise Sagan players keep using the older version. More info in a few days from me and Waywocket.

Ah, I forgot friends can see this. I can use your help. This is the new Mod Config. Dont download it yet, as this version is for Gagarin only. Gagarin (space race) broke a lot of mods and we all helped re-write this for Gagarin. I'm in the process of creating a duel purpose Sagan/Gagarin version. When thats out I'll ping you to try it. I assume you are still on Sagan. No difference in look and feel from older version. Not yet anyway. It is designed to be ready day one so any mods using it can still work.

When is it due, and what will change from Waywocket's version No rush mind you, just asking.
