The script works, but only works with normal wheels, not others like "Offroad wheel"...I can set positions like in the video tutorial. I didn't try the remote position switch formation yet.

Any chance someone has a version of this script with no raycasting? I'm playing on a server that disallows it and the server shuts down the script as a result. I'm not using the raycasting but it being in the code flags the server.

Quite a fun script, I had a little bit of fun with it and made a circling formation.

I'm running into an issue where, oftentimes, the follower ships are rotated at an incorrect orientation. For example, they all face to the right of my ship, rather than forward. Any way to resolve that?

EDIT: pressing run and recompile helped abit with more thrusters=slower breaking, but it still takes them alot more to break despite having twice as many breaking thrusters

I have a question regarding the formation positions.

As of my last usage of this script, ships will take the shortest path possible to reach the intended coordinate. During tight maneuvering, this can lead to ships attempting to pass too close to each other and colliding.

I was wondering if it is possible to have the formation remain relative to the World, and only have them match your facing and speed, while staying e.g. GPS+y of my position, regardless of my facing?

This would mean they would not attempt to move around as much to stay in formation, simply matching speed and direction of the leader, and not rotating the formation but still rotating the ships .

I'm getting an issue where the follow ship will rotate itself, but it won't thrust forward when the lead ship moves forward

I subscribed to a Prometheus model and outfitted it with these scripts to experiment with a Multi Vector Assault Mode and when I load it in from a save, the scripts break. I decouple the 3 separate ships and when I send the start command to the scripts, instead of the 2 ships below the saucer moving down, they all *yeet* themselves in an angle moving down and backwards.

Great script. Just wondering what the <id> actually is? I'd like to send a command to the follow but not sure what it's actual id is or where to find it? Do you have an example you could share?

There was a large antenna.

My ship, this is a light cruiser of the red team.
It was bought at one of the stations.

Ships stop following if you turn off broadcasting through the antenna.
She was disabled before the update.
After the update, I turned on the antenna again, but I did not start to follow any of the two ships.


I did not redo the antennas on the following ships.
Only on the leader ship.

If recreating the antenna helps then its probably keen, the script never interfaces directly with the antennas. Is this large grid or small grid? Is the antenna of either ship on a subgrid relative to the program block? Do you have a link to the ship that I can use for testing?

Having tried all sorts of options, the recreation of the antenna on the main ship helped me.

It seems that some kind of local bug has occurred.

Created a programmable block. I inserted code into it.
Edited x / y / z. Applied a script through the timer. Everything.
Of the mods is only [EEM] Exploration Enhancement Mod.
Before the update, everything was fine. After the update, the script stopped working.
Updated it the same way as I did before. Without changing x / y / z the same story.
The script passes the test without errors.

Maybe you need to buy a DLS?

It doesn't work as intended for me anymore. For a long time the script worked fine, now my ships simply fall out of the sky, or don't move. On rare occasions it will work but the leader will stray off. Not sure what's causing this
