Hope this helps anyone!

need dat 1.1

I wonder why @ChippedChap goes very salty off the comment section. If people say it doesn't work with X then feature it in a description with like 3 words and flip. No one's making you do stuff. At the very least no one that is actually polite enough.
Best cleaning mod btw I'm now cluelessly waiting for someone to 1.1 it
dninemfive 4 Mar, 2020 @ 11:21pm
@ChippedChap Has anyone said they're going to update this yet? If not, I probably will.
Genaeve 4 Mar, 2020 @ 11:23am
Nothing is as good as this was. I've tried a few and nothing compares.
ChippedChap  [author] 29 Feb, 2020 @ 2:05pm
Absolutely, sure. But if you're going to make something like this - go all the way and make it work for all jobs other than just cleaning. If I got back into playing, I would do this idea.
Leaf! ∆Θ 29 Feb, 2020 @ 10:40am
A shame you aren't updating to 1.1, but I understand. Is it alright for others to update it in your place? I wouldn't know how, but I'd love to see it continued
Angrysquirrel 25 Feb, 2020 @ 9:05pm
Wow, this looks like an awesome mod. Too bad you aren't going to update it to 1.1
Genaeve 25 Feb, 2020 @ 8:44am
Hi Will you be updating this mod. It's phenomenal and greatly needed. :MysteriaGodOfDeathHappy:
Epic Store Exclusive 18 Feb, 2020 @ 6:32pm
I guess there's no chance this will be updated to 1.1 then? I guess we can just use Cleaning Area instead, but still, this mod is infinitely better IMO
Lurmey 10 Dec, 2019 @ 1:46pm
Ah okay. Thanks for the response. If I even try making my own mod I'll bet it won't work with Prison Labor. Prison Labor hardly works alone! :P
ChippedChap  [author] 10 Dec, 2019 @ 1:43pm
Note: I do not maintain my Rimworld mods anymore. People are posting and asking questions so I feel the need to comment this here.

@Captain Lurmey No, all colonists doing the cleaning job will go down the priority list. Good luck on your own cleaning mod :) (Make sure it works with Prison Labor or everyone will comment about it, as you can see here)
Lurmey 10 Dec, 2019 @ 1:30pm
It would be nice if, on the work tab, there were a selection box for which area each colonist should prioritise cleaning, after which they'll clean the home area. This works well if there's a separate work type for priority cleaning like PriorityClean adds.
Lurmey 10 Dec, 2019 @ 1:29pm
Is there any way to specify which colonists should prioritise which areas with this? I'd like to have my doctors keep the hospital clean at all times before doing any other work and after tending to patients, but with my current cleaning mod (PriorityClean), they'll prioritise cleaning the kitchen, labs and prison barracks too. Same goes for wardens and chefs, I want them to clean their respective workplaces but ignore others.
Forekast 10 Dec, 2019 @ 12:08pm
Can confirm: adding Prison Labor results in Cleaning Priority not working right anymore
Telarin 7 Dec, 2019 @ 2:20pm
Having issues with the mod. I have 3 cleaning areas defined (High Priority Cleaning, Med Priority Cleaning, and Low Priority Cleaning). My cleaners clean the high priority, then medium priority areas as expected, but then they go idle and will never clean the low priority without me manually setting them to task.
Davy Ones 6 Dec, 2019 @ 8:00pm
This mod is exactly what I needed, and is brilliant when it works, but is incompatible with Prison Labour. Shame.
fatburner 4 Dec, 2019 @ 5:54am
The cleaning menu is in the bottom right. One of those gray icons just over the Menu button
fatburner 3 Dec, 2019 @ 1:33pm
Hm i can confirm, after installing prison labor this mod no longer seems to work.
solcrux 30 Nov, 2019 @ 5:38pm
where's the cleaning menu supposed to be?
Oniwabanshu 23 Nov, 2019 @ 8:27am
"colonists won't clean new dirt " can you modify that? that is just another example of forced difficulty.
eighmy_lupin 20 Aug, 2019 @ 10:44pm
Prison Labor causes pawns to clean home area
Babaloo321 14 Jul, 2019 @ 11:41am
I'm also having the bug that has been mentioned. Colonists still clean home area after a few IRL hours of deleting home area from priority list.
chonwick 2 Jun, 2019 @ 11:59am
I am having an issue with my current run. I have a Priority Cleaning, Cleaning 2, Cleaning 3. For some reason they will not clean in 2. I delete Priority from the tier list (also confused why when you add to the list it adds at the top not the bottom, seems counter intuitive) and they Clean 2. However, they never get to 3. I do have a fairly large map, but I have like 4 cleaners and they go about other tasks. I have removed all areas that are inaccessible or blocked by walls.
1stReaper 24 May, 2019 @ 1:15pm
been trying to test this mod, to see how it works....

i cant seem to get them to clean how i tell them to,
i've deleted the "home" area from the broom icons menu,
and spawned a load of flith outside and in my "build roof" option, even spawned some snow outside and inside

however...
i set build roof as top command, then snow, and had home deleted
but the pawns still cleaned up outside first :<
*Pillow Pet* 20 May, 2019 @ 11:40am
Where is the cleaning menu????:cozybrawlhalla6::cozybrawlhalla6::cozybrawlhalla6:
D. Pede 28 Apr, 2019 @ 6:59am
@aaronjelliott84 You can get this functionality with Fluffies WorkTab mod. No need to reinvent the wheel here
aaronjelli 20 Apr, 2019 @ 3:51am
Can you add a schedule for cleaning? I'd like to set cleaning an area every x days, so that my main cleaner doesn't constantly stop what he's doing to run off an clean one single piece of filth
RankLord123 18 Apr, 2019 @ 2:38pm
the mod doesn't even do what it's supposed to- colonists just clean like normal
Skellitor301 16 Apr, 2019 @ 3:15pm
Quick question, is this mod not compatible with Prison Labor like Cleaning Area is or is that just for that mod?
HydroFrog64 16 Apr, 2019 @ 2:25pm
Where do I find the cleaning area menu?
Ibbygidge 6 Apr, 2019 @ 5:11pm
Ok I just tried deleting the third zone, and my colonists are still cleaning the second zone.. So maybe the solution is if this happens, add a third cleaning zone and then delete it once they start cleaning the second zone?
Ibbygidge 6 Apr, 2019 @ 4:41pm
I am having the glitch where they only clean the first area on the list and not the second. This didn't happen in my previous colony, just this one. I tested out adding a third cleaning area, just a little spot that I added to the bottom of the list. Now my colonists are able to clean the first two areas. I will update once I know whether they will clean the third area once the second is done, but the second is my whole base so it might not get to that point. I suppose I can test by making the first and second areas small and then see if they will clean the third, etc.
SmokeDragon 17 Mar, 2019 @ 2:13pm
discovered the cause of my crash was linux issue
groovybluedog 17 Mar, 2019 @ 8:24am
I assume this mod still comes under the regular clean work type? If not, it is a shame that there isn't a way to prioritise urgent cleaning needs in another work type so I can increase the number, leaving areas like kitchens clean immediately but leaving the rest of the cleaning to the last thing on the entire work list. Does that make sense?
Skenior 4 Mar, 2019 @ 11:31am
If me or my friend try to set cleaning zone, that person goes "out of sync" - then cleaning setup is reverted and out of sync player needs to "catch up" game. We tried pausing and setting up both same zone and then unpausing, but then again we got out of sync, mod setting went to default and then we synced again. We tried using this mod because of somewhat bigger colony and lack of enough cleaners, but unfortunetely with no success. Link to mod: https://github.com/Zetrith/Multiplayer
ChippedChap  [author] 3 Mar, 2019 @ 5:03pm
@Skenior Can you elaborate? What happens when you try to use this along with that mod? I've never used that mod before so I'm curious.
Skenior 3 Mar, 2019 @ 10:35am
Doesn't work with Zetrith Multiplayer mod :(
Dosboy 20 Feb, 2019 @ 5:30pm
@smokeDragon - I am running Dubs mint menu and this mod just fine with no errors
MurderMouse 17 Feb, 2019 @ 7:02am
My pawns never clean the second area? It'll say that a colonist is idle until I put the second cleaning area first. Anyone have an idea why? It isn't a big deal to rotate the top cleaning area. But it isn't as smooth as I would like.
SmokeDragon 16 Feb, 2019 @ 10:15pm
removing mod Cleaning Priority fixes load issue possible conflict with dubs mint menu
MeadWolf 15 Feb, 2019 @ 12:34am
Had an unrelated issue with the mod Shear those corpses not working and it turned out a mod called Story Framework was responsible. Strange thing, after disabling story framework Giddy up and Cleaning Priority started playing nice together too. So it looks like Story Framework is true culprit.
MeadWolf 13 Feb, 2019 @ 10:32am
Mod is great, definitely one of those "why isn't it in vanilla?" moments!

Have an issue when I have this mod loaded and using Giddy-up! Ride and Roll by roalo with creating an area for that mod only when Cleaning Priority is loaded. I have posted the issue to roalo hoping he can fix it but thought you may want to take a look as your mod may have some incompatibilities with other mods that affect areas. I have set a post in your GitHub.

Dosboy 9 Feb, 2019 @ 12:33pm
This mod works REALLY well for auto-fighting fires. I like to preserve trees. :) Set the home zone for the entire map and then create a new zone for the old home zone (for cleaning purposes). Go into the broom for this mod and remove the (old) home zone and add the new one created (plus any others in the proper order). Colonists will then run out and fight any fire on the map and still clean home area.

Any hard incompatabilites?
ChippedChap  [author] 1 Feb, 2019 @ 2:38pm
@brehmluke Is there a difference if you put this mod higher than Prison Labor on your load order?
brehmluke 1 Feb, 2019 @ 1:56pm
@eighmy_lupin Yes I'm using Prison Labor, that could definately be the problem then
eighmy_lupin 31 Jan, 2019 @ 9:58pm
@brehmluke Are you using Prison Labor? I was having that problem too when I had it installed.
mfelizandy 31 Jan, 2019 @ 7:44pm
Hi ChippedChap. To use the "Restrict" window as an example--at the far right of the window there is a row of colored blocks--if there's space each block will have its area label--like "Unrestricted", "Home", "Animals", "Cleaning", etc.--inside the colored block. My blocks aren't big enough to contain more than a few letters. That's partly because I have a lot of animal areas set up, but the addition of four cleaning areas squeezes the blocks down to little stripes with barely a letter or two to tell me which is which. Is it possible to either make the column with the area blocks wider or create a setting to keep the cleaning-area blocks from appearing in places like the Restrict window? Thanks for looking at this!
ChippedChap  [author] 31 Jan, 2019 @ 7:16pm
@brehmluke One person has reported this before but I can't recreate the issue. When I set the home area as the only cleaning area my colonists don't clean in the Home area even if I try prioritizing filth. What other mods are you using? This seems serious so I'll look into what may be causing it if I have some spare time.

@mfelizandy Thanks for the feedback! What do you mean by the 'blocks' for each area? Do you mean the colored squares in the priorities window?
