I kind of like it when the wings stay equipped when using other dyes. any way to force this?

Fixing this issue has been on my todo list for a while, but I'm a bit rusty with the modding tools and need to figure out how to properly upload a fix from a pc that doesn't have the original files. I think I've got a proper fix, though!

if you have any playable character, after switching dye you can swap to that playable character and then back to hat kid (or whoever) and the wings should be gone

I think it causes me to lag sometimes

I can agree with the wings staying after changing the dye i would like that to get fixed

i love this mod, im so happy it came out. i was here when it was still being looked at

the wings caused my game to crash after i tried to disable the mod after seeing how the wings never go away.

the latest two comments have conflicts without reading each other's, just add an option to disable wings for dye changing or enable winds for dye changing.

The wings don't disappear when you change costume.

I like the mod but it doesn't get rid of the wings when I want to use a different dye.

I did get the issue where the wings stayed after switching dyes - it specifically happened when I bought and auto-equipped a new dye (in a mod level). After doing so the wings wouldn't go away, even if I switched back to the angel dye and then to a different one. They went away once I finished the level though.

It's a good mod but my game crashed as soon as I downloaded it. Lol.

I'm talking about the player select in spaceship. So I have to play a level to change inventory?

The player inventory isn't saved while in a level, and as a result once you switch characters, your equipped items revert back to what they were when you loaded the level. This isn't a problem with Angel Dye

This bug doesnt die with mustasche girl.... In player select it automatically puts everyone I can play in angel dye. Please fix or I will not use this mod anymore.

Is it possible to add a configuration to the mod where it can go back to the old design of the wings? It just seems like the new wings look a little like bug wings imo. lol

i did some testing i know how to reproduce the wings staying after changing in to a diffrent dye. All you need to do is equip the angel dye change in to a diffrente hat (for exemple: ice hat to time stop hat) and then change the dye to diffrent one

I'm unable to reproduce this on my end so unfortunately I can't offer a fix until it's more clear what exactly is happening that causes this. Any extra info is appreciated

The wings remain on Hat Kid, even after the dye has been swapped.
