This should work fine with CK2+ ?

persian retinues?
Sean 7 Jan, 2019 @ 12:49am
Hey, seems the retinues become unhirable once you reform the Roman Empire and move to Rome...

Can you make a mod with Persian or Iranian retinues?
Legionary Guard 22 Nov, 2018 @ 11:33am
The page says the retinue's name is "Akritoi," but the correct term is "Akritai." This very slightly triggers me, but I'm mostly just glad that you're making the attempt to correctly pluralize Greek words.

Is all your mod compatible with CK2+ ?
Valse Griffyre  [author] 27 Oct, 2018 @ 6:04am
@G.Strategos
It's most likely compatible with HIP. AI will use them randomly.
G.Strategos 27 Oct, 2018 @ 4:50am
@Luna Assassin
Looking good. All your Retinue submods are HIP compatible I guess, right ? Also do you know if AI uses them properly ?
Cheers G.S

Whoops, i thought this mod replaces the old retinues. My bad.

@Anstette
I guess not :P

@momentum
I'll make retinue packs sometimes later
Anstette 25 Oct, 2018 @ 5:30pm
Ironman?
momentum 25 Oct, 2018 @ 5:12pm
you should consider combining all of your retinue mods into 1 so i dont need to subscribe to 9 separate mods

@Nippel Talermachos
New means up-to-date to latest patch? Yup!
Jacky Treehorn 25 Oct, 2018 @ 1:03pm
Are these mods new ? Seems like I've allways needed them now that I see them.. Will try them on HIP mod.

@d12ddd
Who the hell told you I removed the Cataphract? I merely added a new unit called Cataphract Lancer, the original Cataphract with horse archers are still there
d12ddd 25 Oct, 2018 @ 6:33am
Why did you remove the horse archers? You could've made them unique by buffing their defence by like 40-50%(thus making them actually useful and super badass). As far as I know Caraphract horse archers were pretty much the only horse archers that used very heavy armour, so that change would make sense.

Also, before you ask - cataphract horse archers are historical and were not only limited to Persians and Parthians or other guys. The Greeks used them as well.

I see

@dissatisfieduser
Maybe, I'll think about it. But I don't know yet, not everyone want certain cultural retinues and constantly updating whenever I put new retinues is a lot of work :P
dissatisfieduser 21 Oct, 2018 @ 9:38pm
Will you make a consolidated mod with all your cultural retinues?
Valse Griffyre  [author] 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:32pm
@Danwar
Thanks ^^/

@the High Pinger
Phalanx is a formation, not necessarily have to be ancient Greek soldiers. In this mod, my Phalanx refers to heavy infantry using spears instead of swords and axes. The name is misleading but bear with me please X3
Zwei833 the Buggy Modder 21 Oct, 2018 @ 5:57pm
Phalanx is an ancient Greek unit, it is out pf the timeline of eu4 and not suitable for Byzantine.
Danwar 21 Oct, 2018 @ 10:20am
Nice
