Any likelihood this will be updated for the new units? New skaven stuff like warpgrinders and Ghorritch, Taurox and idk if doombull would need special stuff, ogres of course.

So what's the Monstrous units are on top of the wall, is there any issue with them jumping down into the city? Can they run back on top? Does that also mean we can put our monstrous units on top if we're playing defense?

It's a shame that some of the large creatures can't actually climb the walls rather than not being able to use ladders

Nvm, for anyone wondering how to do this for CTT, just open up the CTT db/battle_entities_table on PFM and change all the units that are changed in this one (open this mod in PFM for reference on the names) and enable the check-box for use ladders/siege equipment on PFM for those units. Haven't figured out how to make a version of this that can just be compatible as a stand-alone mod without making a copy of CTT every time there's an update so if anyone has more modding knowledge I'd appreciate it if you let me know how to do it.

hey man, wust wondering if we can expect an update for Hunter and beast? I haven't actually tried out to see if nakai or the new krocs can go on the wall or not (as well as the new lord type)

Riders and engines (so spider riders and arachnaroks) don't work the same as the rest of the units, so the setting to get them able to climb/deploy on walls doesn't work for them.

I suggest spider riders and arachnarok spider and spider swarm from O&G as it is loreful for them to climb walls!

And about the ladders, yes, I can make them invisible, but then they'll climb in the air.

Updated so the new rattling guns and warplock jezzails of the Skaven can climb walls and be deployed on them.

This is done by enabling to those units the ability to "get on the walls", no matter what way. There is no setting for ladder or towers.

Any reason for that? I'm assuming the code is locked together somehow?
I've wanted to remove the ladders for skaven as well, considering they should just be able to climb up the walls normally, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do it. :/

Seems since I'm using radious I will have to specifically edit that unit from inside the radious mod. Could you tell me what the name of deck gunners in the file is and what exactly to edit to just modify them to be able to stand on walls?

yes, do it yourself. Download the mod and remove everything except the deck gunner stuff.

It probably touches the battle_entities tables for some fix, and that causes the problem. I'll try to clean up this mod for the next update to make it more compatible, but I can't garantee it'll work with the community bugfix.

Then you probably have another mod interfering. I checked it about an hour ago, and those units climbed walls.

It's the regular deck gunners too that can't climb walls.

Odd, didn't work for me during my luthor campaign. I had bloated corpses and mournghuls climbing but not the deck gunner RoR

The ror version of the deck gunners it's already in the mod. If a unit is in the list, any variant of it should also be able to climb walls.

Will Ushabti archers and Warpfire throwers shoot from the walls if used by the defender? If so this makes them good top end defencive units.

I love this mod :D if you've brought monsters you can now actually DO THINGs with them in sieges

currently am sending Tree Kin up ladders to deal with Rat Ogres

@Westonsammy Not possible. It's only possible (in theory, as I haven't tested it) to do it for the little spiders and even then they'll popup a ladder if it works. The rest count as cav (spider riders) or vehicles (the big ones) and this method doesn't work on them.

If possible, please add all of the Greenskin Spider units to this list. Both on TT and in the lore they are able to climb up walls and over obstacles, its one of the main aspects of those units
