Updated -- the HugsLib dependency isn't updated but the 1.3 version is working with this mod as far as I can tell

Ah, also it wasn t your mod fault in the end, I think either yayo planet mod tornadoes is pretty crazy on purpose, or your mod don t interact all that well with that mod, either way, tornadoes went pretty crazy and would never disappear. Had six active tornadoes when I decided to look into meddling with the save files

If I remove this mod mid tornadoes, will it break my game? The mod went nuts and my PC can t handle it, 4 tornadoes at the same time, and they don t seem to dissipate for days

Hello! You have a problem with your distribution: the base HugsLib update news entry for your mod is supposed to be uniquely named, not simply `UpdateFeatureBase`. As it stands, some other mods also commit the same mistake, wreaking havoc, as they all change the same entry unpredictably.

Maybe im incredibly unlucky but my settings are 0.33 base chance and 7 day interval (30/60 growing season-temperate)

Yep. If you remove from an existing save while a Tornado is happening it might get angry. But adding is always fine.

I highly doubt this mod was causing events to be disabled. You may want to check what else you had turned on at the time.

downloaded this mod today, but it seems to completely disable events instead of adding the tornado one.
played half a year on a new map and not a single event, then disbaled the mod and bam, events are happening again.
Sry, have to give this one a thumbs down.

Probably my least favorite thing that ever happened to me in RW was when a tornado appeared immediately after a harrowing mechanoid battle, mangled a colonist, and then booked it directly for my hospital to destroy all my medicine. I'm glad to have them back!

Tornados were removed despite numerious protests because there were still a large amount of people complaining. I'm one of those who didn't want tornados removed, so I'm more than glad that it's back- even if it has to be a mod like it shouldn't have to be in the first place.

Ahh that's cool Jaxx. So that would mean a light tornado option would be even better for many of us. We still get the event, but it's not as damaging.

it's mostly that it was an impossible to plan against scenario incident unless you decided to completely bury yourself in a mountain. everything else in the game can be planned for and mitigated, but a tornado just destroys everything and you can only sit there. it's not in line with vanilla philosophy.

They graphics were fine I believe but I think he thought people would like having randy random spawning in tornadoes and destroying their bases also might've caused lag? don't really know that's just my guess

Wow, thanks, I always loved those. A disaster should be some real danger. On the other side some much weaker tornadoes would be also cool. They could destroy crops and hurt living beings but only partially damage buildings/roofs. I wonder if it's possible to mod those.
