Modlist works fine for 1.5 as far as I'm aware, it just needs an update to the About to stop it complaining about being in version 1.4.

IDK how this import should work but I installed it, restarted, got the list of mods and went and subbed to each one by hand.

The good news is it came up clean and so far no runtime errors.
Added Giddy up 2 and Saddle up 2 and a few others I like.

So far so good.

What triggers the export? Just subbed/added the mod, loaded and saved a previous save and nothing there

Updated to 1.4. I'm not getting the errors reported earlier, nor able to reproduce with adding mods I use to 1.4. If someone is still getting failures to refresh the modlist files in the install directory please let me know and what mods you have on (I know it's ironic to ask given this is the tool... to easily find that out).

Similar issue here. Haven't looked at modlist.txt in a while, but noticed its last update was back in April. Would be useful for troubleshooting other 1.4 mods.

Hi, the file is nowhere to be found on my whole computer. Even though I installed the mod, enabled it, played for a while, saved and quit.
It seems I'm not the only one to have this problem

Something's wrong, some of my Rimworld files were last written on the 5th of july (update?), after that the modlist.txt has not been updated.

I'm trying to find the file, I'm looking in the directory, but it's just not there. I've installed the mod, loaded the game, saved the game, quit the game, still nothing. I know it's supposed to automatically generate the file, but when does that trigger? When can I expect to see a file? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm here because I'm able to reproduce the bug discussed months ago! Regarding ToCommaListAnd.

It's an oddly specific set of conditions. I've spent the last several hours troubleshooting this and narrowed it down to these two mods, somehow interacting, causing the error to be thrown with this mod loaded:

TDDebug (https://github.com/alextd/RimWorld-TDBug)
Slave Recreation (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2558063616)

Error does not throw unless both of them are loaded.

Good luck figuring this out, I've yet to see how this is happening.

err, when is it supposed to save the list? installed the mod, loaded a save game, quite the save game... no modlist

Ok so I think it was caused by a bug in Rimworld 1.3 not being able to combine authors with non-english names to a single string when requested. I _think_ it's fixed, now but I don't have any mods that caused this issue. Can someone confirm it's fixed now and if not (ironically) post their modlist here?

Ok I'll look into fixing. Maybe the game code changed since the preview. Stacktrace might be helpful if I don't find it right away. Was this with a non-English setup?

It doesn't appear to be working despite compatibility with 1.3. "No active language! Cannot translate from key ToCommaListAnd". Didn't help to set my language to English in settings and restart. Saved the stacktrace if helpful.

For Mac users, the path is

/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/RimWorld/modlist.html

I would recommend putting the Windows and Mac paths in the description instead of just "the RimWorld directory." That's not enough info to be clear.

For example, on macOS the location of RimWorld saves are in a DIFFERENT RimWorld directory (/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/RimWorld -- which is where other mods also frequently store data).

@True_Gritt it automatically saves a file in your Rimworld installation directory. On this machine the path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\modlist.txt (and .html)

Is there any useful documentation on this mod? How does one use it? I see no Export action in Rimworld's mod control? What is the location of "the Rimworld directory" mentioned? Is the location the same on Mac & Windows?

I believe to have read there to have been a change in how mods can define dependencies and relations with other mods. Does that in anyway impact his mod? Not necessarily negatively, but rather allow for features?

As some mod stuff has been changed, as far as I understood, this probably needs a bit of a touch up. I might be wrong and it can just be updated directly though.

Hey, trying to export/import the modlist and it's not copying. I can copy the list from the .txt file, but when I try to import I get a "Mapping values are not allowed in this context." Error.

Nice. I notice that the new HTML file could use a few tweaks to deal with mods like:

- [RF] Rumor Has It.... [1.0] by Rainbeau Flambe
- RimWriter - Books, Scrolls, Tablets, and Libraries by Jecrell
- Yorkshire Terrors by kagypoo
- [RF] Etched Stone Walls [1.0] by Rainbeau Flambe

They're doing something in the Steam page description that throws off the formatting, resulting in h1/h2 tags being emitted.
