I just now saw all four comments, yes it works with both. I replaced both credits song files and at the time I put this out it worked.

I tested it on two campaigns from both games and it worked, great addon! 👍

Also I'm glad I found this addon, I was on a trip while listening to this song and I was thinking if there was a mod for the credits theme using this song

Odd; I noticed you put a bunch of Megaman X music mods up @Slim, but you don't have any preview videos like you do for this mod. Would it be alright if I asked you to put preview videos up for those mods so I can take a listen, and decide if I wanna use them or not?

Glad you like it, I had considered making this for awhile but I haven't come back to the game until recently. This version is obviously the instrumental heard in-game, as the original one is in Japanese. (I couldn't even find a lyric translation) A fun fact is that the original is sung by X's JP voice actor, Showtaro Morikubo. I like making audio mods mostly for myself, but might as well share them anyway.

Forgot to mention, the Keyboard bits in this song gave reminded me of some of the music in Super Mario 64; Bonus points to you.

Wow; when I first saw this just a few moments ago, I decided to listen to it just for fun. I wasn't expecting a Megaman X track to be something that'd actually WORK in a game like Left 4 Dead 2; I fairly recently started using a mod that changed the credits music to a remix of the Samurai Jack theme song because I was bored of the vanilla Left 4 Dead 2 music and wanted to change things up a bit. I'm still wanting to use that one and try to finish with a Katana, pair of Nunchaku, or a spiked baseball bat, which's basically what a Kanabo is, just for a few laughs, but when I don't feel like doing that, I'll use this one instead. The music, and your work at making it into a mod, IMPRESS me, as does your salvaging it from what is, from what I've seen, widely considered the WORST Megaman X game out of them all.
