I love this mod, especially the Wing Commander ships, but honestly, it is more than a little OP. I find that if I try to use them they are just too powerful and then I left with the unsavory task of having to intentionally weaken them by leaving hardpoints empty to make them viable. Is it possible to take a another balance pass?

Mod still works and with compatibility with NCS place this mod below NCS in load order and it will work fine.

does the ai /npc use these ships? ... or is just for players ? and if so how do u get the other ships there was only 2 ships (providence & hercules ) after i installed it after playing for a few hours, don't know if that makes any difference?

also one thing to add is that i seem to be unable to upgrade a Fleetcarrier at all, despite having the needed ressources it justs stays idly and stating "Preparing to upgrade"

Does anyone else have the issue where your strike craft don't attack out of the carriers? Mine launch, and then fire one shot when they get there (Per flight of strike craft) but then just orbit the target. No other shots fired exception for the next wave of Strike Craft.

Should be. Stand alone ships tend to not break anything heavy. but I'll patch anything that came up including the version number in a week or so.

Please someone make an NSC2 compatibility mod, I desperately want this thing to sail alongside my flagship. It also fits well with the EDF shipset from Space Battleship Yamato.

Arvi: Can you post a screenshot of the astro while it's bugged out? It never appeared bug out on me and i even took 3 new screenshot of it as you can see from the three new photo after the thumbnail pic.

No, AI wont build any of the stand alone ships. I'll instead post a mod later on like a "Merger of rules - Ship Ownership Limit" but for all of my stand alone ships as well as ncs and some other mods that add new ships for that, in that way, AI will build it only if you got that patch and will be compatible with or without nsc or some of the stand alone ship or some mod that adds new shipclass.

Will the AI build them? the Astro Carrier model is bugged for me and got weird texture glitches but I can live with that and just no build it, as long as the AI does not.

Updated to 3.4: Changes:
-added missing codes and fix some minor errors due to the 3.3- codes.
-Removed Empire limit, Build as much as you want from now on. (This is due to 3.4 code changes, either i make my mod incompatible with alot of mods as the file now that handles empire limits is different than ship_size, or remove it completely to make my mod compatible to almost every mod out there.)

I found a graphic bug in the Venator Class Hull.
When equipping Space Torpedoes a turret appears floating alone in full space, very aft of the spacecraft.
This bug did not appear to me with Nuclear Missiles, only with Space Torpedoes. I have not tested with other devices in this slot.

Update: Fix Fleet carrier destroyed modifier not being removed when you rebuild the FCV.
Resized all model to partially make them proportional to Mega-Class Star Dreadnought, ISD, and Executor Class Star Dreadnought (still not on workshop.)

Janson: Terran and Astro are Fleet carriers, The rest are normal carriers that can be unlucked with the tech Cruisers.

@Everyone: Minor Update - All carrier model has been scaled down by 50% and Asrto CV model (the green one on the Pic) has been tweaked, it now has ALOT of small aircraft on the flight deck (About 1k+ small ships on it).

For people who likes to use the Astro CV and lags with the current changes, an old mesh backup is included on the folder "Astro_CV\OLD_BACKUPS", rename it to Astro_CV.mesh and move it to the previous folder to use the old model.

Mesh file size comparison of the ACV:
-Old = 18.5MB
-New = 65MB

I edited the "dcv" localisation files from "Carriers" to "Dedicated Carriers" and now it works perfectly with NSC2, if anyone that uses NSC2 that wants more carrier options that's all you really need to do.

This mod needs an update to 2.8 and FYI the Wing Commander carrier is NOT Concordia..that's the TCS Victory from Wing Commander 3.

I like the idea of dedicated carriers but I built one for like 9k alloys and it made me a ship with 75k power.
My nation went from feeble to scaring everyone around me.

There might be issues with having so many powerful hangar slots.

Knight.R: The AI wont build it. I already know which file too edit to make the AI build it but that will make me replace 1 file, and I dont want that, I want this to be 100% non replacer to be compatible with any mod.

Also, Downscaled compatible? If you mean if it will work with downscaled mod active, then yes, but id you mean if the ship will be downscaled, then no. Im using ds myself, I already set the scale of each ship to be big enough ato stand out even when using ds or not. And I think that's how carriers should be.
