also you can try take squad command (wheel menu) to be sure you're not a subordinate in your command group (that would make you unable to enter vehicles if not ordered to do so)
Please help me fix the problem ....

nerly everything is customizable, if you have a bit of scripting knowledge...
the easiest is the bubble system, with enemy number, spawn range of each type of enemy, side mission type and frequency, AI convoys and CAS, ....but you can set super snipers, kamikaze and much more to your taste!
be more specific i'll try to help !
bubble can be set in range and enemys number, right now has been set more on "performance".
some side like general and ZSU rely much on main objective troops and bubble system for now, but seems you still have troubles with main objective (even capturing it?) and bubble....i'll test for good as soon as i have time.
sadly scripting is fast, but testing requires many hours of actual play...and sometimes some bug doesnt even come out....so thanks for your info!
- The second task, to occupy the airport, is no problem. There are no enemies.
- The side missions, capture the officier, was only the first time with some tanks. At the second time, and each other one, there were only 2 enemies around the offcier. As I had to kill him there was only himself.
- For the missions where I've to kill the sniper seems sometimes that they go out of the "bubble of war"
- Maybe that the "bubble of war" is to easy or the enemies disapear right again
- The mission where I had to destroy the 2 air defences was ok but only this both ZSU were there, no other enemies
- These were all different side missions types after I was playing some hours.
- And now I'm still standing around the main object and nothing happens. It won't marked as finished nor there is a try of enemies offence to get it back
(it require some mods eh)
By the way...i wish to remember you all that this mission is even more enjoyable in COOP or TvT !
another fix fill follow for some side missions...
I'm working right now to fix this also for SP, please be patient a day or two because i have to change nearly every script !

If so, then nothing really happens. Apart from a small attack after completing the main task. But e.g. in the second task, to occupy the airport, there was nothing to do.
After that I flew over the whole island in peace.
i should also create a sort of campaign to give some sort of "feeling of progression"...will think about it....thanks for the idea man !
anyway i'm sorry about it....hope you can get a new PC soon!

@psycho 78 : well you actually dont spawn AI directly , this because performance will suffer too much from savage spawning of AI....but you can actually "indirectly" have AI by helping to survive your AI convoy, your AI recon helo and your AI CAS plane, in this way they can help you with theyr presence on the map....sometimes they even captured a main objective by themself !
technically speaking, you can spawn just AI UAV, but max 1 per player.

Unload all mods... and the same. :/
for the night-day, just use zeus as admin, adn set any weather/time of the day you like :)
