Since installing this mod, I have lost access to Reapers. I can't even select Reaper in the Character Pool. Anyone know why that might be?

Anyone know if this mod works with the chimera classes mod acting as a substitute for the long war classes? I ask cause I find the LW classes to be very frustrating and after trying to use them, I refuse to have them installed anymore. Just...... no.

Deadput's verion seems to be buggy, according to the comments anyway. I'm gonna bite the bullet and use LW2 Classes and Perks and try to comment out as much of the unwanted stuff as I can.

The question I want to ask however is how safe is it to activate this mod mid-campaign? I want my first hero units to be the default ones and I don't want it to be left up to chance. So I thought I could just not have the mod active til I get Dragunova, Mox and a Templar first. Is that feasible?

you could try Deadput's version without the classes

alternatively, you could swap out the LW2 perks with ones from other other packs by editing the classdata.ini, but you'll definitely lose some abilities unique to that, like area suppression and bastion.

Is there anyway to use this and the Skirmisher Heretic mods without the LW2 Classes and Perks mod? That one does way too much other stuff that I either don't want to happen or conflicts with other mods I use.

hero class templates need to be set up slightly differently (ex. they come from a completey different type of soldier), but everything involved is in config/localization unless you're making custom abilities or GTS stuff.

Hey, Mitzruti. Is it possible to make any custom class a hero class with XComFactionClasses.ini?(i.e . one from the workshop) PZ seems to have fallen off the Earth so I went here instead.

Im not sure if its this mod but the detection range for these guys is enormous. Any ideas?

Think I figured out what was causing the crashes. If you have 4 or more utility slots for reapers using "more base utility slots" entering the loadout screen for this class will cause the entire game to crash. However, if you have 3 or less it seems to be just fine.

I seem to have run into a problem. Every time I go into the Reaper Cryptic's loadout screen my game crashes, and it only seems to happen with this class. Would you have any idea what could be causing this, whether it be the game or another mod?

you can try using console commands from https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1370543410 to rebuild the soldier until they clue into what they're supposed to be. seems to be a glitch that may happen when there's multiple alternates for the same faction.

They do need to be activated for the perks to show up in game.

I think most people tend to do what they can to avoid or mitigate ambush missions because they're not the greatest missions in the game. Not as fun as a good ol' covert op extraction vs exalt in EUEW at any rate. And even those could get old.

All soldiers with Shadow (especially reapers) should start concealed regardless of the mission, as per usual. I'll chalk it up to a little glitch (I have way more mods running than anyone really should). I was just curious if anyone else ran into the same problem.

They use the exact same shadow ability as regular reapers. Sounds like a glitch, but I'm not sure how ambush normally works (tend to negate the risk/etc).

I don't have much experience with these guys, and just did my first covert ambush with one. He didn't start concealed. I assume something must have gone wrong, but is this actually intentional?

The only thing that's really disposable is the UI mod. Everything else either provides perks, or makes things work properly. (stealth overhaul is ussed to make skills like fuse usable without breaking concealment)

Could probably prune the list a bit with custom-made perks, but I haven't really dug into creating perks yet.

Is it impossible to have this class without the Richards classes and Overhaul stealth. Otherwise this would fit into my game nicely.

That's a LOT of required mods, some of which are imcompatible with other things I have in my load order. Is there a less dependant version of this, or should I come back for a fresh game? In either case, interesting mod, hope to see more in the future!
