I remember there was an option in this mod to change the AP to 1 in CHOSEN HUNTER's DRAKLANCE. That's why I complained. Anyway, I apologize again.

If you mean the xcom one, then just dont install this mod and xcom will fire 1AP you don't need this mod

You want the hunter to snipe 3 times per round? That doesnt happen even in vanilla. Your complaint does not make sense.

I'm very satisfied with the Wrath of the Chosen AI Pack.
However, it is absolutely unacceptable for CHOSEN HUNTER's DRAKLANCE to use AP2 to fire.
I will use a more advanced AI PACK, but I am sorry that I cannot accept the use of it.

Hello Advent Avenger,

I don't recall subscribing to this mod. But for some reason my Darklance is behaving like a normal sniper rifle - 2 APs per shot.

I did add your DLC2 Abilities Remastered mod. Is there any way that something in that mod has some part of this one?

This mod is optional also there is no need for the theatrics and yes you can remove it mid campaign

Installed this mod as it is listed as needed by your "Wrath of the Chosen AI Pack" and therefore "Wrath of the Chosen AI Pack" and while I enjoyed the challenge, I now find myself abandoning my current playthrough, because the only thing that made snipers actually viable in I/I was taken away from them. You can quadripple the damage, the 2 AP change is still garbage and unwarranted and of course no way to revert this midcampaign.

Its to balance the power of the Sniper end tree skills. Also feel free to up the damage on Sniper Rifles and Crit rating. They got nerfed in the original XCOM from overabuse while flying with Squadsight. Also Squadsight is awesome, in this game or the previous one but in XC2 it is more limited since you have to keep moving. But in maps where you are defending, Snipers are devastating.

Okay so I'll finally ask this which has bothered me since vanilla: Why do sniper rifles take away a perk slot (and require high ground) or take away AP if you shoot with them? It's +1 Damage for -1ammo compared to an assault rifle...

Good lookin weapon, deadly. The chosen very rarely used it even with one action point.

@AA: I actually tend to kill most of them before i'm out of Mag weapons. but then i also have a lot of mods that add more researches, so i suppose that's helping that too.

honestly, the Assassin's sword is the better score. the Disruptor Rifle, though, is pretty handy for Anti-Psi use.

They have very small special effects, but as the Chosen Weapons mod shows most guns dont have that effect in the hands of the chosen, which isnt fair. Besides having awesome skins and looking great, you get too few use of them. You'd have to rush a chosen early on and even then you'd only skip 1 tier for 1 type of weapon, and you get ONE copy. I have a feeling I'm rambling, but my point is i'm not impressed except for looks.

The Rifle and the Arashi ARE special. The Rifle auto-crits psionic units (of which there are too few with the tag >.>) and Arashi has a longer effective range than other shotguns.

Neither the Shotgun nor the Rifle are special either. They are all recycled guns that you get way too far in the game IMHO

ah well, extra damage is nice as well. good to have options.
