Hey there, @N7Huntsman. I've updated the mod patch included with this to add support for Wemd's "Simple Concrete" mod, based on the patches for other mods already included.

Here is the new patch operation to insert into the file https://pastebin.com/zmyV1GQ1 . Hope this helps!

Love the M14 toe-popper added by this but you don't mention it, maybe activated by another mod I have in conjunction?
DEADSHOOT 28 Apr, 2020 @ 3:26pm
A good mod, but could you please make it possible to dismantle and move everything that is in the mod. This would be very useful for raids on other settlements.
Rod Plowman 16 Mar, 2020 @ 7:44am
Thank you for 1.1

Does this work safely with multiplayer mods?
N7Huntsman  [author] 16 Sep, 2019 @ 5:29pm
@Fallen Yeah, you shouldn't encounter any issues.
ΔTØM 16 Sep, 2019 @ 5:16pm

My only complaint about this mod is that it adds a new tab rather than being in the security tab. I have so many goddamn tabs from mods. Send help.
Jmattspartacus 27 Feb, 2019 @ 5:04pm
If you lay a large minefield (4-5 deep in rows) and stagger them, they are extremely effective, amputations for days.
Theplahunter *Spitfire 1 Feb, 2019 @ 8:03pm
btw, I think the m14 mines are from this mod, but I wanna say they are a little weak. It seems like they always get avoided despite being planted just before a raid, is that just a me thing or does it seem they always expertly avoid the toe-poppers?
Theplahunter *Spitfire 30 Jan, 2019 @ 9:39pm
Ohhh, ok. Thanks Huntsman! I didn't know they could be hand crafted, but I found them at the machining table first.
N7Huntsman  [author] 30 Jan, 2019 @ 4:37pm
It's made at the machining table, or can be made by hand at the crafting spot.
Theplahunter *Spitfire 30 Jan, 2019 @ 4:37pm
I can't find which crafting bench to make the razor wire, am I blind or..?
Soy Story 26 Jan, 2019 @ 5:50pm
Any chance of moving the things to the Security tab instead of Defenses? Just seems like it didn't need its own tab.
scrummy99 13 Jan, 2019 @ 8:21pm
Love defence structure mods!
Parker Posey's Mouth 7 Jan, 2019 @ 1:41pm

Deathlock47 1 Jan, 2019 @ 7:52am
it works just fine.
Ralathar44 31 Dec, 2018 @ 5:57pm
Whewt, thank you :D.
N7Huntsman  [author] 31 Dec, 2018 @ 3:41pm
While I couldn't get the graphics to work out for a "short" h-barrier, I have added an "h-barrier firing postion," essentially a barrier with some sandbags stacked on top--that should work out for what you're looking to accomplish.
Deathlock47 30 Dec, 2018 @ 11:55pm
Thank you. Adding a short version is the perfect solution as it reflects the rolls and and different sizes used in the real world.
Ralathar44 30 Dec, 2018 @ 2:34am
Thank you for your hard work on this, it's appreciated :D. I adapted quickly enough, just didn't want anyone else running into the same death I did as my pawns did not shoot back haha :D.
N7Huntsman  [author] 29 Dec, 2018 @ 11:31pm
Hello, I apologize for the misunderstanding--while it's accurate to say that h-barriers are modernized gabions in a historical context, that's not reflective of how they fuction in this mod--though I can understand the confusion.

The advantage of the h-barriers is that they're blast-resistant; whereas normal walls receive double damage from explosives, h-barriers do not, making them much stronger against sappers and late-game raids.

While I won't change the existing h-barrier in order to prevent missing with the saves of people who have used them as walls, I will add a "short" h-barrier that functions like reinforced sandbags.

And yes, you can fire through the Wire Barriers.
Deathlock47 29 Dec, 2018 @ 11:00pm
I got this mod specifically for the H-barriers because i thought it was a genus oblivious choice for mid/late game upgrade to sandbags as they are effectively larger wire held sandbags. I attacked a enemy camp and set up a perimeter using them. I started mortaring the camp to force an attack. They did and I was confused as to why my pawns where not shooting them as the enemy closed the gap, only to find out i just built walls, not cover. It did not end well for my perma death save.
Deathlock47 29 Dec, 2018 @ 11:00pm
Good mod but i think the H-barriers should be an upgrade to the sandbags instead of another wall. 2 Steel, 4 Chemfuel and a lot of work/time, is really expensive for just a wall. i would rather use cheap brick, steel or wood that i can build on or just cheap sandbags i can shoot over. T-walls seem like a better choice for outer barriers. Maybe make it so that if you double stack them they count as a wall? i don't know but the game has enough "walls". I hoped for more cover options.

Also can you shoot through Concertina Wire Barricades? if so, super cool. the game needed a fence mechanic.
Ralathar44 29 Dec, 2018 @ 5:28pm
Just downloaded this today, the Gabions were providing cover and allowing me to fire over them, the H-barrier claim to be modernized Gabions but do not let me fire over them. Is this intended?
Savoyard 17 Dec, 2018 @ 9:41pm
It looks like the update worked. Thanks a bunch!
N7Huntsman  [author] 17 Dec, 2018 @ 8:19pm
Ok, thank you for the information. And don't worry, you're not wasting my time--I made the update after you reported the issue.
Savoyard 17 Dec, 2018 @ 7:42pm
I haven't re-launched in a few hours. Hate to waste your time with an issue that you've already fixed, so I'll do it now.

I don't have Fences & Floors.
N7Huntsman  [author] 17 Dec, 2018 @ 7:38pm
Ok--do you have Fences & Floors installed, perchance? It was causing a similiar issue with Palisades. Also, I pushed an update here a little bit ago, are you stil having the issue?
Savoyard 17 Dec, 2018 @ 7:36pm
Phew. About 80. I also have Palisades installed, but Combat Extended (the current Steam branch), a couple turrent mods are the defense-related ones.
N7Huntsman  [author] 17 Dec, 2018 @ 6:23pm
Hmm. There was a similiar issue with Palisades, related to some interference from other mods. What other mods are you running?
Savoyard 17 Dec, 2018 @ 6:07pm
H-Barriers currently do not function in my game. They can be crafted and 'built', but upon building disappear completely. I'm not seeing any error logs - they simply vanish as soon as the construction project finishes.

Has anyone else had this issue?
Kittamaru 3 Dec, 2018 @ 3:51pm
I... think they might be actually.

I'll double check!
N7Huntsman  [author] 3 Dec, 2018 @ 7:41am
The barriers shouldn't block light, and I'd be rather perplexed if they are doing so in your game. While the obstacles weren't set to block light anyway, I've made a minor update that should prevent it from even being possible for them to block light regardless of what other mods are being run. Your colonists aren't building roofs over top of the obstacles, are they? As these would block light.
Kittamaru 3 Dec, 2018 @ 5:26am
Awesome, thanks! I wasn't sure haha.

One thing - the barriers also appear to block light (they function as full walls) - I presume that's to make sure they aren't crossable?
N7Huntsman  [author] 2 Dec, 2018 @ 12:13pm
Yes, the razor wire obstacles slow enemies considerably. The barriers, however, are solid walls, and can't be crossed.
