Although I find Steampunk and Noir to be blend-able to be like Cyberpunk but an alternate near past instead of near future, and find that I could blend Steampunk, Cyberpunk, and Noir to produce a fictionalized alternate version of the modern day. Superhero stories, I find can be a good example of this blend, as well as the "retro-futuristic" atom-punk. I played Cities of Tomorrow while watching Batman Beyond.
