Random Train Trailers gives way more control over trains than the game's normal system, but can also use the trailer variations that this mod loads.

If you want to change the default trains in your city with workshop/asset trains I recommend the Advanced Vehicle Options mod
I have it enabled but nothing is working
I am trying to change Default Train to a asset Train ( I want to change the Engine Locomotive )

That wouldn't be authentic. Trucks seldom ride around without a trailer whether the trailer is empty or not.

I'm not sure if there is a proper way to hide the main mesh, but if you need it you can always create an invisible mesh (with the wheels at the right location) by just making the entire thing transparent using the alpha texture.
Does it mean that there is no way to set up the custom trailer with general goods ?
