Wow, maybe they'll stop stabbing them in the heart while trying to install a wooden foot.

BamboozleBallet 21 Sep, 2020 @ 2:06pm
Is this mod 1.2 compatible? I miss it so much, now I'm back to saving before every surgery.

Ralathar44 29 Feb, 2020 @ 7:58pm
Update when you can :D.
famalex 24 Feb, 2020 @ 5:54am
Does this work for 1.1?
darthdud0 2 Dec, 2019 @ 10:26pm
the seanmacloed yeah i have that but under that logic then i could also start with 10 pawns with 20 in every stat and with power armor and triple rocket launchers, i was looking for a mod because wanted to start from nothing and work my way up hence why i love the naked brutality start, thanks for the suggestion though it is a great mod and i use it a lot but most of the time to make things like removing starting scars or making every state 0 but with burning passion.
"The" SeanMacLeod 2 Dec, 2019 @ 2:53pm
@darthdud0
I don't know about any mods that allow pawns to do surgery on themselves, but Prepare Carefully will let you put bionics on before the start.
darthdud0 2 Dec, 2019 @ 3:55am
is there any mods that allow a pawn to (without knocking itself out) to do surgery on it's self with most surgeries like removing an eye or leg or spleen but not stupid things like removing the heart?
i have allows enjoyed the naked brutality start but if one infection would happen or if an arm got blown off then that run would be over, i want to solo and be able to get bionic without debug commands.
ThatCoolSnek 2 Dec, 2019 @ 3:47am
i didnt care at all about everything this mod dose but then i saw "receive body parts or implants back" n i was like SUBSCRIBE
darthdud0 17 Nov, 2019 @ 3:05am
is there a mod that let's you do surgery with out medicine so i can pull a rambo and do field surgery on myself after battle in my one man colony?
Gunseeker 27 Oct, 2019 @ 6:01pm
@The_Divided_God idk if it is because of the amount of mods i have, but my pawns still keep dying after me doing the amputate foot surgery and the medic somehow managing to kill them
The_Divided_God 26 Oct, 2019 @ 9:13pm
Any word on whether this mod is currently working as intended?
Tanker D18 30 Sep, 2019 @ 8:18pm
I almost wonder if I have some kind of conflict, might have to dig deeper.
Tanker D18 30 Sep, 2019 @ 8:18pm
I don't know Word-Mule, I'm getting absurd Tynan-style results - ridiculous catastrophic failures with good surgeons and good medicine.
Dimensional_Horror 29 Sep, 2019 @ 5:37pm
party modded = partly modded (some vanilla meds tested, some modded).
Dimensional_Horror 29 Sep, 2019 @ 5:35pm
With surgery fails I meant... lots of dead people for just switching a leg with medicine 13+ docs and medium to good medicine (all 100% and up, party modded medicines). Also room was 100% lit and medicine beds were also medium to good (100% success and up)... still lots of fails. Like Out of 10 operations 2 failed with catastrophical deaths.

Might be other mods overwriting, but should your mod not take control over those values if it has the highest priority?
I could send you a modlist if you are interested?
The Word-Mule  [author] 29 Sep, 2019 @ 12:54pm
This mod doesn't increase surgery success chance. It just gives you more sensible failures than vanilla that are based on skill and sobriety instead of pure arbitrary chance.
Dimensional_Horror 29 Sep, 2019 @ 10:27am
Same... surgeries fail a lot. I have EPOE installed but made the load order so that this mod here should have higher priority...
Tanker D18 28 Sep, 2019 @ 12:31pm
Is this mod still working? I am failing stupid surgeries like removing and installing bionic limbs with highly skilled doctors.
The Word-Mule  [author] 7 Sep, 2019 @ 6:28pm
idk
AmUnRA 7 Sep, 2019 @ 4:04pm
Is this fully compatible with RBSE (the better fork of EPOE)?
Balthazar 31 Aug, 2019 @ 9:42am
Thanks. I haven't tried it yet but if this prevents my Lvl 20 Surgeon with: Evolved body parts on every part of their body, inspiration to do surgery, a completely sterile room, expanded medical furniture, vanilla medical furniture, and industrial tech medicine; from somehow decapitating a colonist in a catastrophic failure when they're suppose to be some sort of Legendary surgeon who's done the job successfully at least 15 other times by now, then thank you.

(I shouldn't need glitter world tech medicine to have a veteran surgeon know not to behead a colonist when they're not even working on their neck.)
Aricus 9 Jul, 2019 @ 7:47am
@Psina according to the MP mod spreadsheet it says yes
Mur Derer 14 Jun, 2019 @ 2:14am
is this okay with multiplayer?
The Word-Mule  [author] 18 May, 2019 @ 9:30pm
I doubt that's related
Hallanvaara 18 May, 2019 @ 12:09pm
Added this mod midgame in to a save with EPOE and all went well except guy with advanced power arm got his power arm disappear
EBhero 7 May, 2019 @ 6:38pm
*Mie has failed operating Riestling in a minor way*

!!-Death:Riestling-!!

And here I am.
Haraise no Tenshi 4 May, 2019 @ 6:30am
I have as of yet to find any way it would not work together with RBSE then again theres probably always a way to murk things up
Rosco 9 Apr, 2019 @ 10:13am
Decided to install this after my lvl 13 healthy doctor with glitterworld medicine destroyed an archotech eye..
The Word-Mule  [author] 14 Feb, 2019 @ 11:49am
Yes.
sord33 13 Feb, 2019 @ 11:10pm
ultimate question. Is. This. Save game compatible?
酒铃酒铃酒铃 7 Feb, 2019 @ 8:01am
Did this mod effects surgery from other mod,l as for surgery from Polarisbloc CoreLAB
Slash 5 Feb, 2019 @ 6:43pm
"I made a minor mistake while installing this eye, so it disappeared into another dimension" 🤔
Tanker D18 2 Feb, 2019 @ 8:33pm
I can't believe they released 1.0 with surgery in the state it's in, to the point where this mod is still necessary. Just goes to show Tynan really has a raging frigging hard on for making the game difficult in stupid and arbitrary ways.

Thanks for keeping up on this mod.

"-You will receive the body part or implant back on a minor failure."

I love you

"oops, looks like I made a minor oopsie when I installed your Bionic Leg"
Leg destroyed
Bionic Leg evaporated
Severe bleeding

"minor oopsie"
jfd 29 Dec, 2018 @ 8:54pm
