Jesus F. Christ, every goddamn campaign there's always a research that I couldn't do (unless I was lucky enough to rush it through the Black Market) because it required an Elite Mutton! I THOUGHT THESE BASTARDS WERE IN THE MAIN GAME?!?! I also thought that they never showed up because I've too many new aliens mods and it messed up with their spawning chance. Which stupid mod added a tech requiring this mod without any disclaimer?!? OR AM I THE ONE GOING INSANE? :angry_seagull:

Sorry for the botherment, was wondering that with your permission if I could be allowed to use the Muton Elite and as well as it's weapon model for a mod I'm working on.

The Mod itself is making TLP more "immersive" in it's story as a gap between Xcom 1 and 2, part of this process is removing Aliens that Xcom shouldn't have encountered yet.

I wanted to create a Muton Elite based off of the EU one with red and gold coloring.

@hectorzx: Might wanna capitalize "Personal shield vest" into "Personal Shield Vest" so it's more in line with every other armor/vest. Just a suggestion.

funny thing is i also hardly see these guys late game. might wanna add they can show up in Squads, rather than just show up as Squad Leaders at higher force levels.

Hey I've forgot to tell you about this for weeks now sorry but was just going through my mod list when I just remembered that I was watching a youtube campaign (ChristopherOdd's latest season) and when he did the autopsy he didn't get the cutscene for it.

I don't know if it might of been on his end but just thought I should let you know. (Better late then never I suppose)

@Panos Sigma The way the rating system work is prety awful, you need at least 200+ ratings(or more, i do not know the exact value) to be able to get 5 starts, this mod have 142 ratins (141 positives and 1 negative)

Dunno why this has 4 stars and not so many ratings. It works as intended, it uses a very well done and "lore friendly" model and above all it's balanced. I usually avoid custom enemy types because they tend to be on the ridiculous side appearance / game-mechanics wise. I've felt that mutons in XCOM 2 at the end game were very weak, compared to the muton elites from XCOM EU/EW, so this a good mod choice. Well done hectorzx.

@Dragon32 it is the cutscene for the autopsy, that is the way LW2 added it, so i did, and it is working fine.

Hey hectorzx. Noticed in the mod's Content folder there's a ~13MB file "CIN_Autopsy_MutonM3_LW.webm"

All other basegame cinematics are packaged as .upk, and checking the original LW Alien Pack all of its assets in the Content folder are .upk files.

Is this included by mistake?

The description bug has been fixed by the latest patch however, muton elite now shows up completely black

It happened twice so far. and first time was when I saw the elite muton body listed in the black market.

and the second time was when the body dropped.

In the future if you were able to get it, LW2 had an Autospy cutscene for the Muton Elite, I'm sure some guys on the Modding discord could help getting working for the standalone Elite muton here.

@hectorzx The DLC code is accessible to modders. It should be in Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2 War of the Chosen SDK\Development\SrcOrig\DLC_3\Classes if you have the WOTC SDK installed.

@hectorZX hey just wanted to say you did a good job with this mod, but you missed a line of code that allows these guys to trigger the muton phobia trait. they also don't get affected by dark events like standard mutons. If you need help setting that up I can lend you a hand.

No it won't. It is a new enemy type with its own AI.
