.. ok so apparently the old guy was supposed to spawn in the corner where you can't actually reach him, rather than where i kept seeing him in the middle of all the enemies.

As far as i can tell, when he spawns in the intended corner, he's unkillable.

nevermind, i worked it out. They don't react fast enough to attack you if you leave straight away.

So whats the strategy here. afaik in order to kill the target you need to be in melee range right? but then the other guys will kill you. How do you kill him?

I've gotten as far as needing to get to the exit point. Killing the target is the hard part.
