From what I understand:
A navigation mesh helps NPCs navigate the environment, especially if they are trying to track/follow another NPC or player. The more complicated the environment is, the harder it is for basic NPC navigation to navigate the complex environment.

\/ it is a pathway I guess. It is used to make certain Nextbot NPCs to work and track other players (including you) down.
