I know it has been a while but i am still playing FM19. I decided to bring St. Albans to the Premier League. I played with TFF Shield Wall and Conquerer Tactic and got promoted each year. Currently i am in the Championship. Since i have the lowest budget i could not compete with the bigger teams but managed to get saved with 5 games left so i decided to train this tactic.

Last matches i drew 4 and lost 1. I have 65% or more possionsion, more shots but the opponent always scores first. So yes my team is not the best. Are you nusing OI's or anything else? I really like this tactic

it works but as liverpool im getting 20-30 shots a game 9 on target and maybe only 1-2 goals lol...

Tiki-taka isn't the football that Pep teaches. In fact, he said in interviews that tiki-taka is the complete opposite of his tactical style :) tiki-taka is having possession for the sake of it. Pep, instead, says possession has the goal of ending the play and each pass is a step towards that direction and has a meaning. He also said that ending the possession faster means they can recover the ball faster too and generate more opportunities.

Guardiola's left and right backs come inside more than they go down the byline. You should watch them the whole game, they sit inside often like a mezzala nearer to the defensive midfielder. Good tactic (the real life one) and this is close but I would change a few things. The set pieces look good on this one btw.
I think Klopp's tactics are superior, Guardiola himself admitted the only way City can overcome Klopp's tactics is to go long over the top and bypass his whole team. I will try this out and then share my Klopp tactics (He uses 3 different ones over a season).

Any one get this, every time my wing back gets the ball wide even with plenty space, it seem they hit the ball right at the first defender that comes at them every single time, it even feels like they wait for him to come so they can hit it right at him for a corner. is this new FM issue this year?

One model to use is 2 weeks tactical, 1 week ball control and 1 week attacking per month. But this comes down to analysis of your squad, periodic performance analysis of areas your team might struggle with, either its low goal scoring ratio, poor passing or lack of team movement and tactical understanding.

Yea the tactics is good but i need good players to get the last part, wich is goals, i can pass around for 80% in a game but only score 1 goal, and playing against counter playing teams, that dont cut it. Still gonna keep it for this season just started for me, see if it changes.

Hey, gonna try this tactics out, been using a defencive and a counter tactics before, both was good but not when u meet much stronger teams.

This tactic seems poor against lower teams. i play with liverpool and i beat arsenal and spurs but lost to 3 low end teams, one was a 3-0 loss. odd! handy to have for the big teams though. created my own for the lower teams.

@MPhatik u should buy right players for the roles and try it maybe before u change ?

@Filius There is a good Tiki-Taka pre-set that I use in order to train for this tactic. It involves a lot of shadow defense, and shadow attacking, heavy on the tactical side of the game.

This is a good formation I use when I'm playing teams similar to Leeds in the Championship, but when playing a weaker side, although possession is high, the goal ratio per minute return isn't what I thought. I switch to an attacking 4-3-3 for the sides that prove much less quality.
