for example for the MK4 scope the correct magnifications values are theses : (in default_weapon_upgrades.theater)
"weapon_m14"
{
"fov_wpn_scope" "9.7"
"fov_wpn_ironsight" "80"
"fov_wpn_focus" "83"
}

Hope everyone cooperate fill in. Thank you!
Although the higher the magnification, the less accuracy could be expected, since the extra-magnification means it's not as aligned as default. Still, pretty accurate enough if you use no mod on your sight.
Sometimes I pick Mk14 just for this reason when the server gives me lesser points. I can just use C79/x4 instead of MK4 scope and still have similar magnification than having MK4 on other weapon. When 1 point makes huge difference in maps that require long-range shooting.
Plus it looks cooler.

Otherwise, great work, been using it for several games now.
@Rymd: I went for a low profile rail, something like this: https://i.imgur.com/2Lvg9Q3.jpg
It's not an actual recreation of the real mount, but I built it to look as similar as possible. I can't find any pictures anymore, the above picture is the closest representation of it.
The length of the segments was like this on the original model from which I built this mount. It seemed to be the most fitting choice from what I found back then. I'm not a modeler, so I had to do this hackjob and work with what I got.
Even if it's yours, it's still good to have it in the credit section.
the rail segments are too wide and far in between
the railmount has no built in brass selector
clamps also looks squished, it seems like you tried to scale on a single axis
materials could also be improved, tone down the phongexponent/boost/fresnelrange values and remove the blue phongtint, looks out of place on the vanilla m14
you should state it in the description that it replaces the a_standard3_mk18 as well
the railmount should look like this [i.imgur.com] imo
great work on the script though, shame it doesn't work on all servers
