Is there any way I can deactivate the constant fire blasts in The Lost Archives? They're really loud and annoying, I don't really want that for my players.

Hey, I love the maps and am looking forward to using them in my first campaign I will be running. I've started putting it together and have started created some of my own mods for it. Part of what I want to do is add dialog to some of the NPC's, which from what I've learned this involved editing the level you want the dialog in. I've tried unpacking your mod and loading it in the editor but when I try to load the level in the editor, it CTD's. It loads find in GM Mode. I'm thinking maybe the mod files in the Editor directory are required to edit level, which aren't packaged in the pak. Would you be comfortable sharing the source files for this mod with me? No worries if not. Thanks for putting this together in the first place. Everything looks great!

@Frizzeldian12 Nope, it is for the game master mode so people can use the maps in the pack to make their own campaigns.

Unfortunately that campaign has been lost to the void (save file is gone) otherwise I would, I've been thinking on making a new campaign and maps but its been a long while so I'll have to relearn everything. Maybe soon though! If you are still curious the story boiled down to
BBEG wants to use ancient power of the elements
Players have to get to the Wells and the power first
Players go on wild journey to each of the elemental nations and find the Wells
Wells give fancy powers
Players go and fight BBEG in his home and hopefully win

these maps are awesome! i know these are for a gm campaign so i was wondering if you would ever release the official campaign these maps are used in to the public? just from the maps i'm already curious as to what the story would be like.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I figured they were linked to the dragon head torches in some way, but just wanted to make sure they were not automated.
My campaign has to deal with finding old ruins of old gods and taking their essence to become the new set of gods. Your wells work perfectly for visualizing that. I am able to create all 10 chapters of my stories using your maps, the base game maps, and the Dark Manor map. I am very grateful for your work. My fourth chapter was supposed to be investigating a city and takes place all inside of one city, so I was very worried about how I was going to do that, but you solved that worry too with your Balint City map. :)

@kakuga they aren't hooked up to do anything, they were for a puzzle involving the statue with torches in the canyon area. I didn't script them to do anything since what I wanted from them I at the time didn't know how to script them to do, so you can flip them to your hearts content and they won't do a thing.
I'm happy to hear the various wells were useful to you! They were a couple of the parts I was sure very few people would have a use for outside of my own story so to hear they were used makes me very happy.

Are the levers in Sieeth actually hooked up to do something? if so, what do they do? Thank you for the beautiful maps they have made for a wonderful campaign so far for my players and the wells worked perfectly with the story I had written. (Was able to convert a pathfinder campaign I wrote a few years ago to fit into DOS2 thanks to your maps!)

Thank you so much for this. Expanded a lot of detail on some of your maps but do you know if there is anyway to delete the maps from the game? I probably only use 5 out of 37 and when I try to play with friends it takes them very long to download each time... I've tried deleting them from level-cache but its pretty confusing.

@HIKKU @Wilden Ok so literally a day later of working with files, it seems that steam doesnt always download ALL of the file and move it correctly to the mods folder in Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods, Delete this mods folder, and move all mods from SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\435150 manually to the Documents mod folder (outside of their individual folders). Boom fixed mods, and crashes with these larger mods.

@Wilden Alright so after extensive testing with one of my friends. It seems that this mod bugs out his multiplayer game, and out of the 4 people + me as DM, he is the only one effected in this way. Is there a way to get maps only? because it seems like there has to be script somewhere bugging out his skills and causing him to crash.

@HIKKU I'm so sorry to hear that! It is a massive mod so its very sad but not surprising that it is causing crashes. I even have some on occasion, I hope you can get your campaign sorted out with or without my maps, good luck!

I've tested all of my mods and it seems this is the map pack that causes my friends to crash upon loading. Its so sad because if I uncheck this mod all the edits and customization Ive done to your maps get erased. Im in a pickle but I love your work, truly the best pack on the workshop. So much STORY!

Aha! Thank you for the information on the fog! I'll keep troubleshooting the crashing issue, as they didn't originally. It's liable to be my own fault. :) I really enjoy these maps.

@TacticalPanic I'm not sure what to tell you on the crashing aspect, I've not encountered this problem. I do know if you have a large amount of mods that it causes a heavy strain on the game. This mod is MASSIVE in terms of how many and how large the maps are so if you have a lot of mods it would explain the crashes.
I can however address the fog, CTRL + Space will lift the fog and reveal the whole map, pressing them again will bring the fog back up. If you posses any NPC in the map the fog will lift permentantly. So if you want players to have the map revealed as they explore avoid possessing any NPCs if you can and simply CTRL + Space to lift it so you can see what you are doing!

The Lost Archives and Tilvit Island presently make me crash, but otherwise I've enjoyed these! I'm curious how I can easier lift the Fog of War on some maps to work on them? It doesn't always seem to clear when I move my camera to sections. :)

EDIT: Oh no! It seems now the majority of the maps crash. :(

I've downloaded the mod and checked the present mods in the given game, but I still don't see them even appearing on my in-game mods list. I'm wondering if this is due to the changes or perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

Update to everyone. I'll be doing a pack wide update with small changes to each map ranging from lighting to more objects and placing some mobs. Be warned I'm not sure how this will affect you depending on how drastic the changes to a particular map are.
