@Buick GSX just tried something, let see if it work

there is a crash that happens when switching chassis on the updated t680. when you switch from a normal chassis to any MX optimized chassis with the x15 equipped the game crashes instead of reverting the engine choice to the cummins x12 or paccar mx11/mx13.

I would say that you should rather use Galimim Mod, since his Volvo Drivetrain mod for ETS2 is what represent more closely european drivetrain.

Other than that, notepad++, open all files in notepad++ and use find and replace

I dont mind doing it but im wondering if there is an easier way? Currently i would change the truck name to the truck i want it to work for. Then manually go in and change every accessory data to that truck name. Is there a way to do them all at once?

Is the mod now encrypted or do I need some special tool to extract the .scs file to adapt it to a mod truck? I can no longer unzip It for some reason

On which Volvo truck ? If you are talking about the newer VNL, the D16 was discontinued in early 2017, before the newer model was available

sorry for the question but im just curious as the option for Volvo's d16 has disappeared, is it intended or a bug?

They pulled a fast one again and made it incompatible.

Ich habe gerade...mal wieder....den Volvo vnl 2017 in Benutzung.
Es gab mal einen herrlichen ( auch im original) Motorsound....ich kenne auch aus eigenem Erleben den tollen knurrigen Klang dieses Fahrzeugs.
Weiß jemand, wie man diesen Klang wieder bekommt....so dass es wieder richtig Spaß macht ihn zu fahren...( Klangbeispiele gibt es reichlich...wie bei vlog18rodas/ san francisco ) einfach wunderbar ihn zu hören....meine Meinung!!! Würde mich freuen.

God damn people. Give the guy a break, the game updated within 24 hours and everyone is jumping down his neck demanding an update, crying it isn't working... LESS than 1 day people, come on, use some common sense and let these MOD creators have a chance to update on their own before you start whining... No wonder so many MOD creators don't share, I wouldn't either if I saw this after a long day at work, ungrateful people.

No, it's not the goal of this mod, the goal of this mod is to put engines and transmissions that are available IRL but not available in-game, I will not do any fantasy option since it would go against the goal of this mod

Most powerful engine on the Pinnacle is the MP8 505A, there is no more powerful engine available for the Pinnacle(the MP10/D16 was discontinued in north america in early 2017 for on-highway usage, AFAIK until Volvo AB had a change of heart the MP11/D17 is NOT coming to north america for on-highway usage, and Mack do not sell cummins engines on their truck).

Do you see either the "HE Econodyne" engines or the Maxitorque transmissions ? go in transmissions and search for the T-318LR

If you see the transmissions, the mod is working fine

Also, small note : you don't need the "2018 Volvo VNL Cummins X15 Performance 605 Engine" mod, already have that engine in my mod on the VNL ;)

Quickly like that I don't see any issue, that said if you don't see the Maxitorque transmissions or the additionnal engines, make a separate profile and put only my mod in it and check,
