Hey StarlightSovereign, I joined another modders discord who on his mods states he is willing to help anyone get their mods updated to work with the newest version. I am going to include a link to your mod in his requests section. Im not sure how busy they are but I am sure they could help fix it with credit given for the fix..

I was working on it with someone twice now and they bailed/didn't answer and I am trying again. But I just finished the busiest time of year for me so I haven't had a chance to try in a few weeks.

@StarlightSovereign I hear ya, I personally dont understand anything about making mods, I mostly just enjoy them. But what I could suggest is maybe throw some text at the top of the mod, and or into the title saying something like "Need help fixing/updating" and im sure someone will help ya out. Probably just an issue of getting attention to get it fixed.

Yeah, that part is been broken since last update. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it since af riend made that part and they haven't modded in a while.

Have you looked into whether you can change this mod to use the XML Extension framework instead to avoid needing a DLL?

I tried to fix it, but I don't know how. I tried to contact Shadi who said they'd help, but they don't seem online anymore. :c I'll try to figure it out but this is a very busy month for me. My GF is moving in with me from across country.

@Shadi I don't know what VS stands for. I literally only mod in XML. I have zero experience with whatever VS is. But I'm willing to learn! If you feel like talking me through it, please friend me and I'll check into it. Thank you!

Recompiling fixed the issue. Basically just opened your solution in VS, set the references to rimworld's version, upgraded to 4.7.2, and built a new DLL. I can walk you through the steps if you have VS Community installed.

Doesnt work for me in 1.4 because the mod options page for this mod lists nothing at all to change so its stuck at vanilla slag amounts.

The third parameter for the checkbox method is actually optional. It just adds a tooltip to the checkbox.

It looks like the issue here is actually with the method not being detected. Resetting and rebuilding the library's references should solve the problem.

@Gavrail Thanks for the report. This and my Materials Rebalanced mod both need external help. I don't know C# and didn't code their menus. I'm looking for someone to help me update them both. Will let you all know when it's fixed.

Looking at this (and another mod that uses checkboxes in the settings) it seems the game expects a third parameter for a tooltip string.
If it were me, I'd just use the same string as the first parameter, but I'm no programmer, should be an easy fix though

might be a problem with the mod controls, its just a blank screen, can't edit them. No idea if its mod order or something

Updated to 1.4 Let me know if you have any errors. I didn't have time to thoroughly test, but no problems so far as I can tell. Should be good to go! Would be realy cool if there where an option to get a little plasteel too (like the component).
Im playing SOS2 and everything needs plasteel and if it gets destroyed i lose all the plasteel...

@Mentat76 I am using practically the same source code for my mod (as mentioned earlier here) and it is working quite fine. I am not sure whether this mod is working currently though. You can try this one out and if it doesn't work well, you could probably use my mod instead and just don't use the bulk option recipes while still adjusting the amount of steel produced from a single slag.

Hey, may I ask what is not working properly? I am using basically the same code for mod settings (with some little changes) in my Bulk Steel Extraction Revived mod and everything still works even for RimWorld 1.2. Have you changed anything in the process of updating to RimWorld 1.2?

Unfortunately, if it doesn't work with the 1.2 update there's nothing I can do to fix it. It was recoded by RainbeauFlambe to have a C# component and I have zero knowledge of C#.
Can anyone else confirm whether or not this works with 1.2 just for verification?

From my tests is not working properly, but it could be just my problem, but updating it to 1.2 to be sure would be better, so I don't risk incompatibilities or errors with other mods ^-^ Thank you for your work anyway, love this mod.
