Can i remove this mid-save?
It crashes for me hiring an army/cancelling a contract and even sometimes 2 seconds after opening the UI, also some of the tree lords are actually chaos lords in disguise (same skills and voices etc).

This mod is an outstanding way to utilise the rogue armies. All sorts of weird stuff occurs with them now. Rogue greenskin units get free scrap upgrades regardless of what faction you play. I can insert immortal characters that are formatted into the AI stack after I offhire the mercs (and I get my chracter back wounded) so when I rehire theres another gobbo big boss in there (for example). By using the merc stack to raze a settlement you can offhire them to get a viable rogue resettlement left behind... which then develops an improved stack for when you want to hire them again. Its all uncredibly exploitable in the most entertaining way, thanks for making it!

Sometimes when i disband a mercenary army my game will crash after i exit the diplomatic screen.

I worked on resolving the primary issue of armies no longer spawning, and they are now spawning for me. I addressed some of the new unit animations from newer DLCs as well. Hopefully it works for you!

They need to be regular rogue armies, they can't be the sea faring ones.

hmmm, Rogue armies pretty much appear at the beginning of the game. I've seen a couple around Ulthuan on Turn 1 when playing Tyrion. It was a Sea faring Rogue army.

The main thing that makes this difficult to update is I would need to play a game with this mod long enough for rogue armies to appear so I can test properly. If somebody can send a save game with only this mod and UIMF installed where there are rogue armies in existence, it would be much easier to test and update.

So, for me this is actually still working? I'm not sure if it's because I'm using KMM or not, but I think it's working. I have the option to hire mercenary armies and am about to do so.

Is it an issue with the UI modding framework causing this mod not to work properly?

I can see the hire contract option, I can even activate it and it takes my funds (Though, occassionally it bugs saying they have 0 upkeep cost).

However after purchasing the contract, nothing happens. I lose my gold, and the army is still listed for hire, but I never actually get them.


Anyone encountering this? Is it the UI framework, this mod, or something else? I dont get any crashes from it just doesn't work as intended currently.

I have no clue why or how, but the mod makes the arrow trails on Sisters of Avelorn disappear, and just SoA, no other ranged units. It might be due to an incompatibilty with another mod, but 0 clue which one. No t-posing or other strange behaviour. Just for your information.

@John Jeremy Yeah there are limitations with spawning multiple forces at the same time. Army spawning in general is quite finnicky about getting stuck. They added this new method for finding valid spawn locations but last time I checked it was also very odd of a thing, but maybe I just didn't understand it properly. Anyway, for now don't buy two armies at the same time until you move the first one you bought.

if you hire two armies at once they get stuck in eachother- and one of the two turns into the others faction.

I hired the celestial storm and the dwarf army with the soopa squigs. The dwarf army got abosrbed into celestial storm faction.

But it doesn't end there. When I dismissed the celestial storm something weird happened- THE ORIGINAL ARMY STAYED AND BECAME A FULL PLAYER ARMY! I was able to add units and trade with the lords units at will. The best part? The dwarf/celestial storm army that I dismissed TELEPORTED to carraoburg and started making new armies and began acting like a full on faction barring diplomacy. Hiring dragon ogres and lizardmen units for each one.

To say the least I was shocked. I liked the free dragon ogres though.
