anyone know how to fix that when bots die after respawning they sit at spawn and dont go into battle ?

Cool mod, I want to try putting lifeline mod into it, but it always puts me into vehicle shop, does anyone have a solution for this?

Also @Foxy: Usually middle mouse button or windows key by default on my side (enter key smh as well). You can configure it at RIS settings as well

Why does the UI not work? I cant click on it when it comes to choosing a location, not even keyboard buttons function, this is a problem.

I see that the respawn issue i had is still not fixed so using single player cheat mod I just toggle God mode so that I don't die and have to respawn.

Very fun scenario for quick fix battles. However after playing this for a long time i do notice that no AI ever spawn in buildings or try to use them? Would it be possible to add this functionality?

The respawn system really needs to be fixed, I don't know if I'm the only one with this issue but I keep getting stuck on the "you're dead" screen and the respawn button never comes up. It happens randomly

W ustawieniach przed rozgrywką jest opcja, zaraz po wybraniu typu gry. Nie pamiętam nazwy ale wybrane jest WIN KEY więc łatwo znaleść.

Pathos, still getting random crashes, only happens when playing RIS. I have 32gb of ram so doubt it's a memory issue.

Is this mod going to be fixed for multiplayer at some point? Currently doesn't work at all with 3+ players. Works with 2 players, but is very buggy. Such as the other player's squad getting massacred over and over again by their own team and gun game eventually bugging out and preventing respawns. Another example bug is the other player not being able to use RC-40 HE drones because they don't hurt anyone but themselves.

Just wanted to report that every time I play, my artillery supports bug out and it won't let me designate a spot on the map pop up window to call it in at. Not sure why, otherwise great mod, thanks for all of your hard work. Very repayable, very very fun

everytime i call in air support like planes or helis, they dont attack the enemies, they just fly foward and eventually crash, is this a bug? im using vcom and lambs

choco good question. I've used both lambs and vcom on RIS and they don't really conflict with RIS just changes the AI behavior. However i recommend using lambs only, I used vcom and wasn't satisfied with the results. The AI would create thier own way points and not follow the objectives and over all vcom slowed the gameplay as the AI would hide and not go to the objectives. But lambs worked better and made gameplay more balanced. AI would use more caution and go to the objectives. With lambs the AI no longer just charged at each other like the vanilla AI do.

I don't know what could be causing all those status access violations - this is just a simple script-based mod. One thing that could be an issue is the SP respawn system I'm using - could you try running the mission in MP?

Get constant status access violation errors and sometimes when I die get stuck on the "you're dead" screen and cannot respawn. Pls fix, both issues have made RIS unplayable.

walidsamour47,вылеты бывают но не частые дже редкие , внимание на ошибки не обращал,тут не всегда понятно кто виноват если даже АРМА 3 может вылететь без модов от сворачивания, играя в тот же antistasi ultimate тоже вылеты есть ,но RIS вполне хорошо идет ,вы мб левые моды подрубаете?,играя в RIS юзаю в основном RIS - Module, CUP Terrains - Core, CUP Terrains ,но если надо RHS, то его подрубаю но с ним он реально не стабильный и вот RHS набором модов частенько вылетает

beastocity ,RHS, CUP are exactly supported by others, I can’t say, personally I use RIS - Module, CUP Terrains - Core, CUP Terrains - Maps there are no problems, everything plays well, I played kaktku today, there is a bug that when you buy an artillery call and at that moment you die then the red circle remains on the map until the end and you can no longer call, but I don’t see any more such problems MB only rare crashes, but even that MB and ARMA 3 itself crashes

Crazytanker ,I’ve already been playing this mod since 2023, there are problems, crashes (but this MB itself is Arma 3 crashes) and others, but what you’re telling is not there!!!, look at the problem in your Noviop, I use such mods when I play it RIS - Module ,CUP Terrains - Maps,CUP Terrains - Core everything works fine, they load unnecessary mods, and then whine at the developers about imaginary errors that only they happen, noviop it is also noviop in Africa

Currently unable to respawn whenever I die, not sure what mod causes it, but I don’t get a respawn screen at all and instead get brought to the pause menu where I can only fully restart the scenario. I also can’t go one by one and narrow down either since I’m running 300 something mods since I usually play alone in the editor and it takes roughly 10 mins to even start the game up. Anyone know off the top of their heads if they’ve seen any mod conflicts that may cause this?

i don't get status acces violation crashes, there are lots of case opened with bots not working but author seems to be busy and issues are not repaired.

Crazytanker do you get any status access violation crashes? Keep getting them everytime I play. And going back to the bots not spawning post the issue you have on the github page. But for me bots spawn fine the whole RIS session.

@walidsamour47 Even with this error message bot spawn anyway but problems are appearing later after couple of minutes because of this bug with not spawning some units after you die game constantly says that there are no reinforcements and none spawns even after waiting another 5 minutes. (i have reinforcements timer set to 30s)

@Crazytanker i get the couldn't spawn group error too but for me AI still spawns like normal, don't think the error means anything.

AI issues on every map,no mods,every game mode. After start of the match i get the error message: "couldn't spawn group (numbers) unit(numbers)" and later after couple of minutes after i die there's message spamming that No reinforcements available to spawn.

RIS would be great if I didn't get a status access violation error everytime I play for a few minutes. Seems to be a memory bug in RIS that causes the game to crash, please fix.

Is it just me or the AI skill is too high? I came back to the mod from previous year and I am getting sniped by infantry while flying a heli from 300m. Bots became almost impossible to beat. Any ideas how to check if its an issue on my end?

@Pathos, it shouldn't be complex to use the module or anything like setting up map markers in editor. This is the instructions: Go to Editor, place a BLUEFOR unit on the map then go to modules > "Random Infantry Skirmish" > "RIS - Game mode" and place it anywhere on the map. And you're done! If you want to define custom locations, you can use the "RIS - Location" module. I followed the instructions and the game crashed before saying no suitable location found. Wish the dev made a tutorial on how to use the module. Maybe I can share with you the map I want to play ris in and you can test the module in it?

In that case you can port the scenario like I did.
Look up some tutorials on how to port scenarios to different maps, it's fairly simple and self explanatory. As for the locations, it's been a while but you set those up using map markers in editor. If you open up this or another RIS scenario in the editor, all will become clear.
GitHub is for feature requests and bugs, it's probably why you've been ignored.

@Pathos, have you used the module before? It messed up my whole RIS when I used it and erased all my saved presets. I also got a status violation error. I also don't understand how to setup the locations when the game starts it says "no suitable location found"

You didn't read the description.
You can use the RIS module to play this on other maps.
Do not use the Github to request maps. There is no need.
