@morephine, here's a very quick guide from online: 1: place down a single large block that you want to put on a small grid. (This only works with items that are not available for small grids) 2: press CTRL + B to make a blueprint, and name the blueprint "large block _____" or whatever you want 3: navigate to ~user/Appdata/roaming/spaceengineers/blueprints/local and the folder with the same name as the blueprint 4: open the file "bp.sbc" in your favourite text editor (Notepad++) 5: find the tag (with ctrl + f) GridSizeEnum 6: change the Large to Small 7: Save the file and refresh your blueprints in-game

Now you have a pastable large block that goes on small grids. This is what I did to create the Raptor series.

@ dustyfang61, you're welcome! Glad you're enjoying it! And I get what you're saying. The LT variant has an empty bed to allow for easy modification. But of course you're welcome to customize to fit the situation you're in on your game.

@ dustyfang61, but if you'd like you can always replace the turret with a block turret, be it vanilla or modified to accommodate your needs.
Luvstruckmango  [author] 12 Nov, 2018 @ 8:11pm
@ dustyfang61, unfortunately no. The MART script allows you as a player to control a rotor driven turrert like a standard one. Currently, the LAAV is set up for the front passenger seat to control it, but can be modified to allow the driver to control it. Essentially, like the warthog from Halo, the Raptor is built to have a Gunner operate the turret.

so does the turret work unmaned?
