hello im the owner of gaming unlimited we would like to ask permission to use on our server and along with the server we would like to also ask for your permission to allow us to put it in our mod pack

we would like to make thing easy for our players to install one mod and hope on, so we would like permission to use it in our mod pack (mod pack is only playable on our server since it has red vehicles which is encrypted to only work for our server so you wont have to worry about it being use on other servers with out asking your permission first,

mod being used on our mod pack does get credit (of course it was all the mod makers hard work that allowed us to make the arma server in the first place cant let them down and forgot them,)

If you look at my screenshots, those cars have no templates for textures. In 30 minutes time, I could create a detailed texure for each vehicle and place it complete. It doesn't necessarily depend on detail as much as it does skill and experience. You must also have knowledge on where things are located in the PAA for the 'template' you use. Knowledge of material, experience, and skill is what it depends on. Technically, anyone can take the uniform, and use on their server without reprecussion. There is no license and there is no authority. Once you create something unbinarized and you release it, it's there for the public. You can disagree to any extent, but no server can be taken down or have any action performed upon it without a license. Using this material without given consent means nothing. He may not give conscent, but any asshole could rip it and use it with free will. It all comes down to morals.

As an experienced developer myself, I have to say I disagree with Kaicoon. It may seem Effortless to some of us when making a new texture pack, but it's mainly about the design itself. If someone reused one of my textures without my permission and it was obvious I would not be happy. You have to remember that bohemia give us consent to create these modifications, But Akers may not give consent to re-use the texture he created in other modifications or other games for that matter.

Akers, thank you for correcting your wrongs. I apologize for seeming like a dick, sometimes I get a bit infuriated when people come on the workshop with actually decent looking items and try to claim them as their own. Saying members can only use that cool looking thing under certain circumstances really brings away from the community. So when I see that as a Content Creator myself, it beyond infuriates me when they try to pass something so very simple off as their own or something so very detailed and hard to create. Which the majority of the time is so very inaccurate.
I also forgot what it was like to begin working on skins, so I apologize for the comment of "little to no work involved" thing. You did a great job on these things friend, bravo.

Thanks for correcting me on this one, I'm a beginner when it comes to coding or creating any kind of modifications to Arma 3. But I can't agree that I didn't put any effort into this. I ve put a lot of work into this retexture of course you can disagree but everyone has a different viewing of things. Maybe it will take you 15 minutes to do as an expirienced Modder but as I said I'm a beginner. So once again thanks for correcting me on the reuploading and using on servers, I ve corrected the description.

You know technically, you can't people are unable to upload this anywhere outside the workshop? You also cannot prevent people from using this on their server without letting you know in the comments? It's your mod, this is a literal retexture of an asset provided by either A) A life server or B) Bohemia Interactive. Both of which you, yourself cannot claim rights to this "Modification"
This is a retexture of an existing model and clothing asset. Unless you create your own and license it, you cannot post any restrictions on the use of this material. The coding, naming, and signing of this material is beyond easy if you have even a week of practice at coding for Arma Services. I've created terrains for roughly 2 years now and I could, in 15 minutes, make a whole uniform, do the CPP, sign the file and include the Bikey. You put little to no effort into this. It's effortless and you reserve no rights.

The Belt and the Hut are not included in the mod in order to get those you will have to download
RCMP pack and the Sheriff Hat from workshop.
