Might. Doubt it, though. I haven't touched an L4D2 mod in years at this point. You'd be better off finding someone who's still active. Moreover, I only did (really basic) texture mods back in the day. Wouldn't know where to start doing that. Sorry.

I learned that verifying the integrity of your cache fixes it.

Two: I don't know nearly enough about your file system or what mods you have installed to be remotely helpful.

Three (Snark): You deleted it and now you can't find it. Shocking.

Three (Non-snark): It's packed in a game cache file, I think. You wouldn't be able to just find it.

Four: Even if I could help (I can't), I haven't made a mod for this game in years now. Why would I be the person that you ask? Surely there are people with more timely knowledge.

there is something wrong it cant find tank color .vtf. now i cant play the or any custom map.i deleted the mod and its still not working.can you help me turnoverman

I really hope someone finds a solution to that "materials/models/infected/hulk" issue cuz not once have I ever downloaded this mod and it's suddenly giving me errors and I can't play l4d2 anymore

The version I was using *checks when this was published* in 2013 was an old version even then. I imagine that the new version will work just fine for whatever you need.

I haven't actually done any L4D2 modding in a long time (college put a halt to it real quick), so I can't tell you where or what you're looking for really.

i did read it it's the TUMTaRA map the only problem is it gives me other maps of the name TUMTaRA so i dont know if the mod still exist or not

If I knew what I was doing with normals, I might try to do hair. As it stands, if I were to add hair, it'd be very obviously, for lack of a better word, painted onto his head.

Your mod may have not broken the game, but I think it helped to create some sort of problem.
I fixed the problem by disabling a few addons, since the problem apparently seems to be that it won't work because of a different mod which I wasn't able to figure out which one. (I didn't have any Tank mod installed)

oh great i tried sv_consistency 0 and it didnt work, i also verified files and still no fucking improvement. enabled the file, redownloaded, and well nothing, glade to know i cant play this game ever again

glad to know that this is the only mod i downloaded and fucked up my game so now i have to try sv_consistency 0 or i cant ever play this game again. ive reinstalled, reset everything but nope glad to know i cant ever play if the steam communty doesnt work for me

Horseless Headless Horsemann (Tank) This file seems to not cooperate with your file Turnover...

Not sure if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me: Step 1: Delete all addons. Step 2: Try to get into a map on a single player, if it says models/infected/jockey.mdl then restart you L4D2 TWICE not once TWICE. If the Jockey thing is still there try restarting your computer. Step 4: If the errors are gone and you are able to get into a map without any troubles and i'm not talking about lag i'm talking about stuff that won't allow you into the game you can get your mods back, but when you do test each one out to make sure you don't get the errors again. NOTICE: If this doesn't work for you you might want to ask someone good with computers or Steam. Step 5: Don't download abunch of mods or the same thing with the errors will happen again, try to stay at the bare minimum of mods that you would actually use.

So I just deleted all my addons and the models/infected/hulk.mdl file is gone...but I joyfully went on to L4D2 agian and when the map i was trying to play finished its loading I got a message saying that their was a new file interrupting the flow of the game...the new file is models/infected/jockey.mdl ...no idea what to do and the only thing I see to do is reinstall L4D2...i'll let you know how that works out...

Oh ok...well sorry about that I just figured since it was the only hulk file I had that it was the one messing it up...

*sigh* two people have already said something along those lines, and both of those people were wrong.

There's some other mod out there that seems to conflict with this mod in weird ways, and those ways cause something in "models/infected/hulk/" to bug out, but whatever those ways are has *nothing* to do with this mod itself.

This mod only has one file, which is tank_color.vtf. Whatever it is that is doing whatever to your game is *not* this mod. This mod is absurdly simple, and there is *no way* that it broke your game.

I use the mod every time I play L4D2, and I'm kinda tired of people saying that it breaks their game. When you find the actual problem, tell me what it is, I'd like to know what to tell people that think it is this mod.
