I'll see if I can, because I don't want to make the reload animation look too abnormally fast.

I'll give that method an attempt as well. Thanks Rymd you legend!
smoothing in blender // in game
also try this
1) In edit mode hit the space bar and type "Seams" then select "seams from islands"
2) Select one of the Red edges that will appear using the edge selection tool
3) Shift+G ---> Seams
4) Once all the seams are selected press CTRL+E and then Mark Sharp
5) Use Edge Split modifier and uncheck "edge angle" option, then hit apply in Object Mode
Rymd stated that the M4A1 has smoothing issues. When I double checked both in Blender and in Half Life Model Viewer (HLMV), I cannot spot any smoothing issues at.
This is what the M4A1 model suppose to look like in HLMV when the light is shined on the receiver: https://i.imgur.com/XzZt5zn.jpg
This is what an "un-smoothed" M4A1 model looks like for comparison, where as you can see the lighting is just all over the place: https://i.imgur.com/c7B2b5M.jpg
Oddly enough, when compiling the smoothed model mesh as portrayed in the first Imgur screenshot, the smoothing on the model in game looks retarded for some reason. I spent another 2 hours trying everything to fix the issue but still cannot find the solution. :-/
Also what Jenn said, though it didn't occur often in my test
I'll have a look into the reload sounds.
@Dude Pivot
The deploy animations worked perfectly fine for me, probably try un-subbing and re-subbing the addon.
If the deploy animation is still bugged, let me know and I'll investigate the addon.
but will u add suppressor on it um maybe with EO tech that's my taste
the smoothing of the gun should look like this [i.imgur.com] and not like the mess that is on the second to last image
