oh nvm looks like this mod causes lots of compatibility issues
bidiguilo 15 Sep, 2024 @ 11:41am
does anyone know if its compatible with diverse weather?
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 27 May, 2024 @ 11:58pm
would be nice to see a list of the weather added in this mod. Can't decide if this is better than Diverse Weather.
Also, a separate mod for just different sky colours would be neat
blazinstoner4200 2 Nov, 2023 @ 12:43am
This mod kinda reminds me of no man's sky.. A really nice planet with overly deadly storms.. But in nms you can protect yourself against it, in this you just die..
galdon2004 27 Jun, 2023 @ 6:52pm
Gave it a try; kinda sucked. Every planet I visited was just under nonstop death weather conditions. Its not diverse weather when every weather is just a slightly differently painted version of "you can't exist on the surface of the planet."
Lmslt 6 Apr, 2023 @ 7:12am
i like the mod but.... it's turn that the planet has an perpetual insane weather

it would be great with a slowdown patch or something
Dekario 22 Mar, 2023 @ 5:15am
Never mind, its dumm anyways. it turns starter planet into a hellscape. Dust storms, toxic rain, hot rain, comet sturms, sand sturms... Ok... sure... A peaceful wood planet has sandsturms and toxic rain. Ok, makes sense. XD
Dekario 12 Mar, 2023 @ 6:04pm
does this conflict with any custom planet mods? or something like return to earth or background replacers?
COVID-19 13 Feb, 2023 @ 5:09pm
Would you be fine with me uploading a version of this which only has the sky colors?
Ashtar 28 Jan, 2023 @ 4:25pm
seria possível fazer um mod só com efeitos de ambiente? Ex: Colorações e efeitos.

removendo somente os climas?

obrigado amei o mod...
Not a Tomato 26 Nov, 2022 @ 4:08pm
I do actually like weather griefing.
Rob Bobbert 24 Nov, 2022 @ 11:48am
I really like this mod because of the atmosphere color effects, it adds a very nice touch to planets making them feel alien and different in their very own way. However, I don't like using the mod as it makes EVERY planet unplayable because of the weather it adds. Is it possible that the author or someone makes a patch to remove the weather?
n3uva 3 Oct, 2022 @ 9:07am
can you make a version that doesn't disable weather griefing
StupidBrainSmoothie 6 Sep, 2022 @ 6:42am
Why is this patching the universe_server.config ? It makes it incompatible with a mod I've made and took ages to narrow down
Grand Poo-Bah de Canadiannaise 7 Mar, 2022 @ 12:02am
Pretty neat mod. Though I don't care for the lack of choice on the lack of weather damage.
Aaaand the all too random weather... a lush world with cinder showers? I mean, it struck me as a neat idea, if it was say really rare. But as the only form of weather...
The sky colours are a pretty cool choice
SentientSupper  [author] 17 Mar, 2021 @ 10:24pm
Patch it all you want.
Black Cat 17 Mar, 2021 @ 5:36am
Doubt this'll get any sort of response (considering the lack of replies to other semi-recent comments here), but I'll pose this question anyways, just to say I tried: Would you be opposed to someone making a patch for this mod that tones it down a bit and makes the pool of weather effects more appropriate for the planet type? The way I see it is that while this is a decently fine weather mod (if leaning a bit too heavily on hazardous effects), I can't help but agree with past comments bringing up how ridiculous the weather pool is (literally any combination of the new weather types can show up on any planet). If it wasn't for that, this mod would be way better, and that's why I'd like to try to make a patch to get it up to par.
cutieryan 31 Jan, 2021 @ 2:56pm
For the record, this only affects vanilla planets, right? Because if that's the case, I'm sure the "This mod is not compatible with any mods that add or change weather effects" doesn't apply to modded planets.
Galacta K. 23 Jan, 2021 @ 2:33pm
It is running good for me, yea ... it's just pretty dumb to see some planets (the Hypothermic ones that is !) with any new weathers ... for a planet that kills its residents because of the frigid temperatures, there's not a lot of dangerous weathers featuring this glacial lore haha
Day 23 Jan, 2021 @ 5:59am
I've got like 800+ mods currently loaded, resolved all my errors more or less except this sucker. (all MAJOR errors that is ;c ) but yeah, this is often incompatible with a universe_server.config.patch with stuff that effect planets. With other mods that modify this, it lags worlds/startup a fair bit. You won't notice it unless you're running a lot of mods though so don't disable it if everythings running good!
Galacta K. 23 Jan, 2021 @ 5:03am
Seriously ? That's a shame, cause the weather effects are good ...
And if I remove the mod, I'm sure it'll corrupt the planets with the said weathers, right ?
Day 23 Jan, 2021 @ 4:18am
Doubt youll come back to it as there have been no updates or replies, but just here to tell everyone this mod doesn't play well with a lot of others. If you check your logs, you'll often find this mod is a big culprit to your woes.
Galacta K. 21 Jan, 2021 @ 7:20am
Do you think a patch for modded planets to have these procedurally generated weather configurations is somewhat expected by you ... or some talented people ? Or do I need to ask to the original planet modders to make their mods compatible with this one ?
Just to give some context : Hypothermic Planets are these kind of planets I'd love to build on with these weathers (like hail or freezing rains) but ... well, it ALWAYS has the same weather system, being Clear/Snow ...
Darth Diabetus 27 Nov, 2020 @ 1:58pm
Is this mod no longer supported?
Bagheera Magaro 21 Aug, 2020 @ 8:43pm
Is the acidthunder and heavyacidrain like what got removed from vanilla?
André 31 May, 2020 @ 1:18pm
Will the mod works with FU?
André 31 May, 2020 @ 1:14pm
Is there a list of weather types?

Is there gonna be a heavy storm that pushes the player away?
Zavgon 26 May, 2020 @ 4:57pm
Just a little something: you should really add on the front-page a warning that says that if you want to uninstall the mod, you basically have to reset your whole universe. Once you subscribe to Atmosphere Plus, that's for a lifetime. Suicide universe if you unsubscribe, unfortunately.
Hektorsektor 10 Apr, 2020 @ 5:11pm
[Error] Could not apply patch from file /universe_server.config.patch in source: D:\Game\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\211820\1567917964\contents.pak. Caused by: (JsonPatchException) Could not apply patch to base. (JsonPatchException) Could not apply operation to base. (TraversalException) Could not find "requiredSystemWorlds" to remove

I always get this error on every planet, requently and even it does it on the same planet multiple times.
Hyperdino 10 Mar, 2020 @ 7:13pm
Is there anywhere I can find a list of all the weathers in the mod?
Nexus Of Chaos 7 Mar, 2020 @ 7:22pm
yes, it will break almost every planet u hav, if not every planet u hav, and will break any characters u hav on those planets. ur better off restarting if u remove this mod, which tbh is what i decided to do. its a great mod, just there's too much!
Mali 7 Mar, 2020 @ 5:41pm
If I suddenly uninstall this mod, will it break my save files or the planet?
alfie8010 2 Feb, 2020 @ 12:56pm
oh didn't see description
alfie8010 1 Feb, 2020 @ 11:36am
does it work with diverse weather?
Mismagius 7 Jan, 2020 @ 7:03pm
a patch would be nice that removes that weather no longer destroying blocks
Songc 7 Dec, 2019 @ 8:02am
The erchius rain on a planet made the erchius monster show up in my ship after I harvested some liquid erchius.
Vermin 24 Nov, 2019 @ 5:44pm
i made the comment cause on a level one planet AT THE START IS RAINING SCOLDING RAIN this is a bad thing cause I CANT FLY AWAY I JUST STARTED
Vermin 24 Nov, 2019 @ 5:42pm
its great untill you spawn in and OH GEE WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT ITS RAINING FIRE WHAT A GREAT MOD I SURE LOVE ALL THE FIRE NOW I GOTA MINE ALL THE WAY TO EVERYTHING
RHS0 23 Nov, 2019 @ 1:43pm
I also found a desert that only has "Blood Rain"

Otherwise I like this mod so far (I did JUST install it), but it seems better for planets with pre-existing weather, not new planets
RHS0 23 Nov, 2019 @ 1:42pm
There seems to be kind of a disconnect between the kind of weather present and the type of planet, when its on new planets

I found a forest planet, but the only weather it does is "Burning Gas Clouds"
I think that maybe if the default weathers were still present for that planet, it wouldn't be as bad.
Just putting out that idea there. Thanks!
SentientSupper  [author] 1 Nov, 2019 @ 7:40pm
It's due to the files responsible for the different sky colors which were pre-generated since Starbound does not support procedural sky color generation.
Nexus Of Chaos 1 Nov, 2019 @ 9:27am
dukke, probably bc its 60+ new weather types
Duke Monterier 30 Oct, 2019 @ 7:43pm
I really wish to know why this mod is so heavy to load
Navis 1 Sep, 2019 @ 1:31am
It would be nice to see compatibility with other mods which add new planet biomes, mostly Frackin Universe and Extended Story.
Navis 1 Sep, 2019 @ 1:30am
The sky colors lack a bit of coherence too. The color from the day can move from red to green the night without good transition between colors. The colors between day and night should be next the ones to others in the color spectrum, or have better and longer transition between colors. The sky colors should depends of planet biomes. The forest and plain for example planets could usually different blue and green shades, while magma and volcanic planets would use mostly red, orange, and yellow shades.
Navis 1 Sep, 2019 @ 1:30am
It looks like weathers are chosen randomly without caring about the planet biomes. It breaks the progressions as difficult weathers spawn in low tier planets, and it lacks a lot of coherence. Each planets should have a list of specific weathers that can happen that would correspond to their biomes. The low tier planets should have only nice and peaceful weathers, while highter tier more difficult and annoying weathers.
Valurio9683 21 Aug, 2019 @ 7:40am
I do appreciate the effort you've put into this mod, but to be honest I DO NOT LIKE IT.
You've created so much hostile weathers that persists so long, even on those relatively safer planets. My new starter planet has a never-ending damaging sandstorm, which makes it essentially impossible to explore and progress: since you start naked, you die quick on the surface. Even I tried to spawn high tier armour with admin command I didn't last long before falling. This forces you to become a mole: either dig to explore or die in the harsh weather.

Overall, I do not recommend to subscribe this mod. :(
SentientSupper  [author] 20 Aug, 2019 @ 6:47pm
Understandable have a nice day.
Ganon012 7 Aug, 2019 @ 8:13pm
I've been testing this with the diverse weather mod and I think I can now more or less safely say that the two are fully compatible with each other. All of the weather effects from BOTH mods show up and function as expected.
TeddyTweaker 1 Jul, 2019 @ 9:00pm
Well whatever was gunking up my game, it seems like doing a complete reinstall of all my mods fixed the issue. Sorry for all the trouble.
