It should be compatible with or without the DLC but not 100% sure about that.

Out of character: Basically ya, the idea is to focus all of your personel on mining rare metals while using the unmanned extractors to acquire metal from more distant deposits to supply metals for expansion. Of course, you should play the way you want to play but thats the type of rapid buildup and expansion that are encouraged by this mod.

People are expensive! (citation needed) They want to eat, sleep, breath, you know, all those pesky things that come with being human. But, people are versatile, flexible and ultimately very effective at coming up with better ways to approach a new situation. Since we're new to this whole Mars thing and those investors want their money back it makes the most sense to license the unmanned metal extractor technology from those clever japanese firms and put all of those really expensive people to work doing what we came here to do, pull rare metal out of the ground! Plus, if we sat on our hands to get the tech to run unmanned rare metal extractors we would get beat out to all the lucrative mining sites. Set the trend dont follow the trend!

Greetings Nellum,
I found this mod interesting and enjoyable but, after a while playing it, I wondered: Why does a Miner Expertise Agency would invest in unmanned metal extractors (when metal could be simply satisfied by surface exploitation via transporters) and not in unmanned rare metal extractors instead?

Just let me know if I got it:
It is intended to find deep rare metals with probes and then go for "classic" dome mining them with the super workhaolics colonists?

Thanks, my Decal is finnaly in the game :-D ....but now i can't find my Sponsor Goals anymore ....i think i suck at modding, i better just keep playing with Phoenix Mining Industries :steamfacepalm:

For the decal showing up on buildings and rockets, you need to add a decal to the mod in the mod editior, this is done the same way as adding a commander profile or mission sponsor from the new tab at the top of the window.

You must give the decal the same Entity Name (not Name) as the logo attached to the mission sponsor. Edit the decal to select the image you would like to use as the decal.

If doing this does not make your decal show up on rockets and buildings then you may wish to recreate the logo and the decal together to make sure everything properly matches.

If you still cant get it to work after that then i recomment browsing to the moding tools documenation (generally saved with the surviving mars install inside steam), look for the mod items heading within the documentation (Section 1.4 in the table of contents) and select mission logo. WIthin the mission logo page there is information on creating decals.

Hi nellum, I really like your mod a lot and have used it for a long time.
I wanted to create my own mission sponsor now, but I have the same problem with the Decal. How did you solve it?

Updated to add the decal, thanks for the information! Banners still dont have the right logo on them but that is a seperate and more difficult issue to resolve.

I have been unable to figure out how to get the logo to apply to rockets and banners. Its a subject of casual investigation so I might figure it out, or i might not, we'll see.

If you happen to know how to get this to work or how where to find information on how to do so please let me know.
