Lander rockets are asteroid rockets. Not sure about the drones, could just be a bug with the game. I'll give it a try and see what's up.

Wow, that's a quick response! Impressive! I had honestly resigned myself to needing to take a break and continue my playthrough in maybe a couple weeks, but the fact that I can continue the very next day is great. Thanks for keeping up with this game, even over 7 years after release.

The fix seems to work great, too. I can also confirm that the change seems to work for lander rockets in addition to the asteroid rockets (well, they show up in the menu; I haven't actually ordered one.) I'd noticed that they couldn't be ordered before, but researching Drone Printing was easy, so I didn't really consider it a "bug".

The only issue is that the RC Generator (the only one I tested) lost all 20 of its drones when it got out of the lander. Not a huge deal, I can just have the drones in the cargo separately and reassign them when I get there. Even if 20 drones is an extra 20 tons, I don't need them all, and it'll just take another trip at most, especially with Extended Cargo Modules.

Hi, would it be possible to make it so that the newly unlocked RC Vehicles are allowed to be loaded onto an asteroid rocket? I unlocked the RC Generator and was super excited to use it on asteroids, but I can't seem to select it.

Since there's no changes to the building by the mod (since nothing was included), then removing the MetalsRefinery will allow the game to use the built-in one.

I think you should be able to do it from the mod editor without having to mess around in items.lua.

So, uh... I presume the issue lies in the other mod then, and that there's nothing you can do to fix it? I'm worried the other author is inactive, so is there a way to fix it myself? Can I delete or add some lines somewhere to make it work?

Oh, no need for logs. That modded MetalsRefinery he added in items.lua is basically empty. It's missing all the required data.

I have befriended India - at 61 reputation as required for all other rivals.

As it turns out, I did find this in the logs, which might explain things:

I did not notice the rare metals refinery being missing because I am playing as the Terraforming Initiative, which the mod grants the rare metals refinery from the start.

This would suggest both of the two refineries not being granted by this mod due to them being overwritten, and this indeed being a mod incompatibility.

Question is, can this be solved somehow?

How do you befriend them to unlock stuff? Anything in your logs after you "befriend" them?

I may have discovered a bug with this mod or potentially a mod incompatibility: India's Metals refinery does not unlock when befriending India for whatever reason. I am using the mod "Surviving the Sponsors", which does modify all existing sponsors when picking between them. That said, India in that mod still receives the Metals Refinery. Is there a fix for this somehow?

I own DLCs up to Green Planet - no Above & Beyond or Trains or whatever other packs were released by the new developers.

unsub to the library, restart sm, make sure the lib isn't in the mod manager, then quit, and subscribe to it on steam workshop then start the game and enable it.

This isn't working for me at the moment - the Mod Manager says "The required dependency is outdated". It doesn't have any warning on that dependency itself (ChoGGi's Library). I removed and re-installed both, and made sure both are Enabled. Any ideas?

What I meant was, does this mod also unlock the buildings you get from the commanders at the start of the game. As in the already completed research techs granting you certain buildings instantly without having to research it.

Yea, I'd like to alter some settings on this. :P I wanted to make it so it takes 95 standing with them to unlock their stuff, or even require buying the rights from them to unlock their stuff.

I think it'd be nice to balance this so that it can't be called a cheat anymore. Would take some work though. :P

Is there a way to get it to "buy" them from the other sponsors (only when standing high enough)?
This still seems quite cheaty.
I really like to buy (or steal) them. Stealing already works with another mod.

I have a suggestion, based on my only dissapointment.

Be able to build rival's rockets.
International mars and USA get the Zeus rocket with more cargo space, SpaceY get a Dragon rocket that is faster. I want to be able to build them after befriending those rivals.

You have to have them enabled for this mod to work. This mod doesn't do anything to their code if you're asking.

You manually installed it, so you have to manually uninstall it, take a look in:

%AppData%\Surviving Mars\Mods
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\Mods (AppData is a hidden folder)
