Please do report any bugs! I may get to them later than we all want, but I will investigate promptly to see if I can replicate bug reports, so I can gauge the damage.

- Fixed bug with max-health degen always being on, if "all thresholds must break" was true and only the hunger-threshold was used. A very, very specific bug :)
Huge thanks to Nuudson007 for reporting!!

- Made the mod more automatically adaptable to changes to the game, whether through updates or mods.

Adjusting speed would be an entirely different mod, and I'm not looking to make new mods right now. Just started a new job I want to focus on, and I still have some work on my other mods. You can leave a mod suggestion on the Klei modding forums [forums.kleientertainment.com].
It is a lot of work, but I do it because mostly it doesn't feel like work to me. My only problem is the amount of time it takes away from IRL stuff.
I'll see what I can do, but don't expect it too soon ;)
Sincerely, Ultroman the Tacoman
I am sorry to have kept you all waiting for this huge update for so long. I finally finished my master's degree and have started figuring out my life after that. Now I found some time to finish what I started long ago, and this is the result. I hope you like it!
Change log:
- Split up regeneration and degeneration, with specialized settings for both types.
Check out the new Settings Information section in the mod description to see how all of this new stuff works!
You can now have your players lose max-health if their hunger, sanity and / or health are below certain thresholds, and let them gain it back once they increase their hunger, sanity and / or health above certain percentage requirements. You can do the same for all the different stats, with individual thresholds and requirements for each of them.
So many possibilities for a much more dynamic game!
Enjoy!
Sincerely, Ultroman the Tacoman
I have chosen to delay updating the mod a few days, as I had to do some extra work on my master thesis for a partial deadline.
The update is still coming, the coding is going well, and I'm sure you'll find the new features of the mod a breath of fresh air for the game. It facilitates increased dynamism in the game, and I can't wait to reveal the new features to you! :D
Sincerely, Ultroman the Tacoman
I've noticed a few bugs. Most importantly that you can die from regenerating, if you have health cost on and health threshold set to 0.
I'll have a new update ready within the week, with 70% overhauled and optimized code and an EXPONENTIAL increase in utility for the mod, so stay tuned! :D
Sincerely, Ultroman the Tacoman
Like I wrote in an earlier post:
Fx. a "health regen interval" of "1/8 segment" means that the "health regen amount" is applied once every eighth of a clock segment i.e. 8 times per clock segment. The threshold is the maximum health you can regenerate to, so as long as you are below this threshold percentage, it will regen. When your health is above the threshold, it will not regen until you get below the threshold again. The "combat delay" makes it not regen for the given amount of time, after attacking, being hit, or blocking. "Move delay" makes it stop regenerating, until you stand still for the set amount of seconds.
Hope that helps! Have a nice day of playing :)

- Removed all_clients_require_mod tag, since this is a pure server mod.

Thanks for another good suggestion!

As for "too many settings" I believe you can never have TOO much. Having it as an option and simply setting it to default should be enough for people to run with it until they think they can grasp it.
But that's simply my way of seeing it.
I've like the idea of having characters that are multifaceted in preformance or role; Bruce banner to Increadable Hulk and all that.
Having a character who can not get hungery by meditation but when hungry loses that peace of mind tickles my fancy I guess.
Also, I think I tried using other mods for metabolizem and sanity but they didn't do anything; The stats kept progressing at the same rate as if the mod was off.
Also, thanks for the quick reply! Was not expecting that.
This IS server-side. I'm not actually sure if it even requires all players to have it. I'll look into that, and update the mod to not require all players to have it, if I can. That said, don't most people have the option on, to always automatically download mods required for a server? If they do, they don't need to do anything manually.

When I read it, I thought it ment something along the lines of being able to link regen between the separate stats, for example;
Food over 3/4 = health increases
Food under 1/4 = sanity decreases
Health over 5/8 = sanity increases
Sanity over 5/6 = slower matabolizem
I've wanted to make a character with such a system, but I have no clue how to mod and am rather poor at art so... meh.
This does look promising though, just wish it was server side so others don't have to go through hassle of DLing just to play on my server. Might check it out anyway.

its a really great mod, and it might just be me, but i cant make much sense of it
Thanks in advance!

- Added regen for sanity and hunger as well.
- Added more settings for each stat.
