I’m currently on with Chelsea at the moment
Schmiechel, g Neville, p neville, Bruce, pallister, Stam, Ferdinand, brown, Johnsen, May, berg, silvestre, fortune, evra, vidic, butt, Keane, Scholes, beckham, Giggs, kleberson, veron, kanchelskis, berbatov, Rooney, tevez, Van nistlerooy, solskjaer, Cole, Yorke, Forlan, Evans, heinze, O’Shea, cantona, Hughes, Carroll, foster, Heston, Howard, Barthez, Van Der sar, fetcher, Park, Hargreaves, ibra, djemba, Irwin
Maybe a couple more I’ve missed
Also changes made to most of the current team who are teens or early 20’s
I thought about splitting united into 2 teams, one for the players who played majority in 90’s and one for 2000 onwards.
Evra and vidic should improve in the game to be as good as they were in real life. I think evra for example has a higher potential than any left back currently at Man U in the database.
In the long run I want to change the clubs reputations, have teams such a Leeds, Villa and all the 20 teams with most Prem points in the Prem. Change money and income to make it a bit better
The plan is go in this order
Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham. Then keep going.
Chelsea for example will be more of a challenge than man united because a lot of their players were not at the club at the ages they will be in game.
Then when I get to Man City they will have barely anyone from the era of the new owners, but lots of money to buy them.
The legends are ‘modern day legends’ pretty much 90’s onwards. Various reasons I chose that, the main one being my age and how much more knowledge o have of players from there onwards. Another being it’s better to condense them all into 20 years.
As for vidic and evra. I calculate a players age based on their current age, so we don’t have a 29 year old Rooney and a 19 year old cantona. I have then put them at the club they were playing for at the time. This is so you don’t have all the best players together at their peak meaning there’s more challenge selling/buying and people getting old.
Evra and vidic stats are lower because of their age and how good they were at the time, they do have a higher potential than their current stats to be able to become as good as they were (in my eyes)
The idea is to keep adding teams, so to put all man uniteds best players at the club all at once would make them overpowered in the long run.
Regarding realisticness I try to do it as realistic as possible based on my opinion. Some players such as Scholes I’ve tried to take into account he was possibly a 20 in things such as composure, vision, passing etc in his 30’s but was not there in mid 20’s. If anyone has suggestions on making them more realistic am open to suggestions, but just hope they remember opinions differ.
