What you are asking for is the vanilla game where it will only try to attack with overwhelming odds and chances are it will always succeed.
Should work fine with OvN
If at all possible AI should always try to outnumber the garrison+defenders instead of launching 3vs20 attacks.
Can you please explain what are the "db/campaign_ambush_ground_types_tables" in your mod?
Does it modify ambush chances or something similar?
since that mod modified campaign_dificulty_handicap
although i dont plan on winning i did see the ai keep on attack without this mod they just afk in the open see like and idiot.. i dont know how to check ai upkeep tho

My frustration with this cowardly, pussy foot fucking garbage AI made by morons is beyond words ability to define. Thank you for making this so I can continue my High Elf campaign and have some fun. Auto-resolve is still broken to shit and I win 300 vs 2000 but at fucking least I can fight my battles MAX force to MAX and not wait bloody ages only to lose 80 % of my army before the AI decides its time.
Thank you for this and to hell with whoever designed the default AI for this game. I can actually finally get to watch some battles and get off the freaking campaign map...

The only thing i think which maybe an issue is that the other mod also tweaks the build time of siege equipment.
Should i therefor perhaps have this loaded first(loadorder?) if i would prefer the other balancing of build time?
这个mod主要是极大的提高了所有派系的进攻性,所以导致全图AI都在四处送死。你只需要把一支军队停在空地就会有无数杂兵向你冲来送钱。这也直接导致了很多派系起不来,后发势力永远都在送钱。
There was a mod for this out there already I swear but either the owner deleted it or I can't find it. I'm 90% it has to do with the cai_personality_strategic_components_tables
Anyway it's safe to use, but no update for the latest patch, as I said above I'm having loads of issues trying to upload the update, it should still work though even though it will be classed as out of date
This is just my opinion but I would suggest dialling it back so the AI will only attack if it at least has an even balance bar BUT have the AI initiate the actual siege battle after much fewer turns of building siege equipment. For the equipment build time, just double vanilla (so one piece per turn) would be sufficient.
