imagine a mod replacing all common infected hit attack with a grab of some sort ala resident evil and a bite xdr effect for the hit for classic zombies ? but just a scripts not a mutation : )

but 1 thing you need to fix lol. i touched fire and it said i got bit.. XD

used the jump through fire shortcut on dead center and kept saying me and nick got bit XD

I kind of like the idea of pills possibly hurting you because it's like an extra challenging gamble, I would love to play this on Realism! It looks great, I'm gonna go play it!

New update: When bitten, health bleeds out 4 times as fast, increasing the priority of healing.
The immunity gene was introduced, info in the description.

I'm thinking it fits. Also, i'm having trouble running a game as whenever I run it on local, I start getting special infected and bites cease to appear. Also it appears it's difficult to find a server to play mutators on.

I concer with this... I haven't tried this since it was singleplayer and a few times after the video you see above. I'm not getting the bitten status effect. Somehow the mutator broke, for fuck's sake i'm seeing special infected!

OI i thought of something , you can make the zombies idle like tht and have boomers spawn occasionally they'll puke on you alerting the zombies or if you shoot them when they are near one they'll push zombies away much like a shove and they will start chasing you

Don't worry, funny thing is I tried something like that in the early prototype for Biters. I wanted to make it seem like the Walking Dead, so I made the zombies blind, so they have to rely on sound and gunshots to find you. Thing is, the AI is dumb. Really dumb. You can do whatever you want, so long as you don't bump into them and they won't react to you.

why dont u strip their animation process so they only use idle walking as seen when they arent aware of you but not the part when their puking falling down and sleeping for slow walking zambies

4-player is here! Please note: There's a bug where if you use pills/adrenaline while NOT bitten, it will make you bitten. I'm working on getting that fixed.

You could just slow down their acceleration. That way they have consistent animations and they can be taken out quicker. Or you could prevent them from climbing, which would make them possible to get away from in a pinch. I think either solution would make them more managable.

might want to buff the med kit speed, especially because of the time it takes to heal. also if there is a way, maybe make the infected less aware of the survivor's actions until they shoot them or any other infected in a nearby range them, not sure if this is possible to do, but as seen in the video, as soon as you killed a few of them, a whole ton of them became aware of your presence and that was how you already had a whole hoard attacking. otherwise from that, nice mod! I might try it when the bugs are fixed!

This is a fantastic mod, I love it! Very difficult, and makes expert players have to examine and use the environment to their advantage in order to defeat the zombies. A single bite causes you to bleed out unless you use a med kit on it, but med kits spawn more commonly than in regular play, so don't think it is impossible. I also love the way that being surrounded pretty much means death, it makes me rethink charging in and makes the game much moire "realistic". I love this mod, it is easily one of my favorite workshop items and my new favorite mutation! Is co op here yet, or is that still in the works?
