@PlaZmaCyborg - the video is the official BF release trailer by the game developers (I guess I should have made that more clear, sorry). So you can probably commend Zeena for the editing there, she usually makes their videos. I just made the tech, in this instance. ;-)

The transition from the gatling lazer to the better future logo was really good!

* Always copy/backup your save game files first - if you save in an unstable you can't open that save back to the old default branch (until it updates to a newer version). Bugs may also happen.
ZeroGravitas  [author] 28 Nov, 2018 @ 11:49pm
Sorry @Zivah. I did purposefully hold back from releasing these until the blocks went from R&D only to general release on unstable, exactly for that reason... :-\

I don't entirely recommend switching over to the "unstable" branch at the moment (it actually *is* more buggy right now), but it is pretty easy. Just follow the instructions from this forum page: https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php?threads/welcome-to-terratech-unstable.17192/

How to switch beta branches
1. Right click TerraTech in your steam library
2. Select Properties
3. Select the 'Beta' tab
4. Click the drop down menu and select 'tt_unstable'
5. Close the tab and then you're done!

The next time you launch TerraTech you will be launching the latest unstable build. If you want to switch back, follow the same steps, but choose 'NONE - Opt out of all beta programs'.

Oh, embed the YouTube upload. I guess, but this item's right in the middle of the vid and the link goes straight to that time code.

Thank you. I certainly enjoy it; it's easy to loose track of time just driving it around my terrain testing Creative Mode world...

Not only does it work well, but it is aesthetically appealing ...
As always, only the best from ZeroGravitas

Yeah, I did a bunch of experimentation with the different mechanisms for causing lean (way back at the start of the year), and the setup's pretty specific - you have to find an aesthetic that will fit the functional necessities.

But those little BF wings are pretty powerful for their size, so it looks a little better proportioned than my Venture only version. The BF hover-stears are stronger too, I think, just about enough static force to avoid having fans for leaning (which were too strong, really, as well as being slower to spool up).

I think every bike with these new BF ion drives will look like Akira (and Tron) while leaving those cool, blue light trails. :steamhappy:

From Appleseed to Akira LOL. You know these "Bike" builds of yours are the only techs that have ever stumped me. I was sure that I could figure out a way to recreate the affect with thrust and eliminate the wings. I tried everything, and there's just nothing that can spin up fast enough to match how quick the wings start the lean, and a split second later is too late. This is a much smarter design than it appears on the surface. :steamhappy:
