and also make sure there is a "hook" (in the tutorial vid of it) and then put that blueprint in the "child spawner" menu by pressing 3, dragging it into 1 of the 4 boxes, gather the R for it, then spawn it

@theromanticswb (i think i got the name right) you need to have a factory and then make a ship "blueprint" with a 3x3 cube and the right angle triangles in the edges. then, mold the ships shape around that

i like the idea of this mod
although it didn't work well for me because they started doing stuff on their own
which start causing crafts to be built inside of my craft
etc...
i ended up with a mass of ships stucked together
which all got destroyed in seconds lol

build the loop on your main ship, put a factory inside, build a segment, repeat the step by putting a loop on the back of a segment and a factory inside that loop.

Alright, I got it fixed, with some practice, I think I could make a few segments, also, a suggestion, maybe add a defualt segment piece.

use factory.
spawn ship with a space and a protruding block /w Crossbeam
destroy factory.

you can do this in itrolid but istrolid has no physics so seeing a modder do this with physics is pretty good nice job

This is absolutely amazing.

Something interesting things to note though:
- Creating a segment that has just enough space to spawn a segment, but not enough space to fit two hull blocks allow you to safely chain endlessly!
- It's impossible to fix, but your massive Solid Snake will pretty much disappear upon saving and loading into the save.
- For other users: You can dislodge any segments forcibly by switching to keyboard rotation and just turning wildly.

That aside though, I think this is a super nice concept. Everything is relatively balanced, the only thing that might make it a little easier to handle dealing with segment survivability would be shields.
