No plans on a 1.1 update.

I encourage anyone interested to create their own version of the mod. If you check out the mod on Github there are only 3 commits to make this mod. It's just changing defaults from the example mod like "Alian_Orassen" to "LotRE_Elf_StandardRaceHalf" and then toggling features like hasBearg from false to true.

I am not sure if this mod works in 1.1 or if it was broken. I haven't tested it. It's just configs so it might still work.

Basically yeah, but I suggest using the Alien Faces example mod I linked in the disclaimer instead. With some luck it has been updated since I made this patch. I haven't touched this mod in a long time.

If I wanted to do similar for Rimhammer - dwarfs, I'd just find out the xml name used for his dwarves and replace LotRD_DwarfStandardRace with whatever name he is using for his right?

The hands and feet are not showing and I tried pretty much every load order. Does someone have a hint?

Same issue here with the beards. It was that mod. Will be glad to know if someone find a fix to it.

the hand, foot, face all unworkable... hand, foot was fixing one point, and face overlap to original texture... it is have report like this? haw can i fix it?

Make sure this is loaded after Facial Stuff and refer to the load order for the LOTR race mods. If you got all that correct and still have an error I suggest asking the developer of Facial Stuff (Killface) or the person who updated AlienFaces to 1.0 (InsertKey).

I didn't write the mod - I just updated an XML file to work with Lord of the Rims.

Im getting this error when dwarves are on screen, and it spams in until the debug log is full. Any ideas?

Exception drawing Corpse_LotRD_DwarfStandardRace48176: System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'AlienRace.HarmonyPatches.DrawAddons'.

I'm not sure what would cause their beards to be on the wrong layer. I know Apparello 2 has (or at least had) a problem with shoulder items appearing on top of face/beard layers with Facial stuff so maybe that is related? I didn't do any real "coding" for this mod so if it's caused by this mod, it's probably caused by any other race mod + facial stuff patch.

Okay, never mind. I disabled your mod just to see they were definitely working, and their beards ARE there, but they're behind their head and I didn't notice. Probably an issue somewhere else.

So, I'm having trouble with the dwarves, they're aren't generating beards at all. The rest of the mod is working great, and I love the mod, but it's just those damned dwarves.

Then again, I had three of them go on psychotic breaks at the same time due to pipe-weed withdrawal, proceeding to then work together in destroying a huge stock of mead, leaving the rest of the colony suffering from mead withdrawal, who then destroyed most of what was left of the colony. Maybe it's just MY dwarves that are a problem.

Well I didn't find how to turn extra head parts like beards and horns and stuff, but you can change this parameter so they don't turn their heads

For some races it did work, for others with additional parts to the head I face the same problems as you with the Dwarf beards, if I find the solution I'll let you know

Nah sorry I won't be making any other race mods for the foreseeable future. But it is super easy to make your own. Just get AlienFaces 1.0 (linked above) and modify Patches/AlienPatch.xml so it works with the other races. And edit About/about.xml with your own mod name / description. Delete the About/PublishedField.txt file and then you'll even be able to upload it to the workshop -- just turn developer mode on and it will give you a button to upload from the mods screen.

There you go, all of the information needed in one paragraph :)

Glad you got it working! The wrinkles can be disabled in Facial Stuff's options. I would guess the problem is dwarves live longer and so they meet the default wrinkle threshold more often. Not sure if that can be fixed or not.

Got it for anybody wondering. Facial stuff + rimface very near top of order, this mod down at the bottom with the dwarves/elves/hobbit mod. Noice.
Although now all my dwarves are (wrinkled) Venerable looking.

It should probably go after Facial Stuff but honestly I have no clue. I don't know how the code works, I just customized some XML to work with the LOTR races :)

Hm. Just got my huge lotr/medieval/ce modlist to work perfectly, facial stuff and this being the last piece of the puzzle.. lol.
Do you think this goes after facial stuff and the lotr races, or after facial stuff but before lotr races?

@Rock Shoot, that's unfortunate. I won't be able to fix that. I have no clue how to disable the dwarf beards from the Dwarves mod.

@Trippy I think the androids already have support from the AlienFaces mod which is what I based the code off of. According to the description "This patch only contains support for Androids, Orassans, Twilek, Xenn and Zabrak".
