I made some checks and I think the problem is incompatibility with mods who uses " Sukritact_SaveUtils.lua " like the Chinooks. SaveUtils is a tool to store data for when u close a game and have them there when you reload a save game. The Sukritact's version is a modified version of the original Whys' one I am using and apparently they don't like each other.
A solution is to go to the mod folder C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS , search all the files "Sukritact_SaveUtils.lua", open them then delete all their content and replace it with the content of the SaveUtils.lua you can find in MODS\Jarcast's The Samnites (v 4)\Lua\Utilities . That worked for me.

From trial and error, I found the conflict in my case was with Sukitract's Chinookian civ. Maybe something to do with the added resources. The only other mods I had active were vox populi and the samnites (duh) and really advanced setup to ensure the Chinook were in the game. Let me know if you still need the lua.log to replicate. Thanks for the great mod!

It's for sure a conflict with another mod. With VP enabled plus modmods like Community events, Enlightenment era for VP, More Wonders for VP, Enhanced naval warfare it works normally without issues.
Can u make a post here [forums.civfanatics.com] attaching the lua.log of your game? So I can give a look at your issues and try to replicate it.

Can't select a totem in the city view or buy a settler with faith, I'm using the latest vox populi/CP.

Totems are buildings that you can see in the city view.

Dumb question. How do I know what totem a city has chosen? Is there supposed to be some sort of prompt?

Have you tried after deleting the cache folder in C:\Users\---\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache? Do you have EUI enabled?
I tried with just last version of CP and the updated Samnites enabled and still have no problems.
The mod has no ui components neither things altering the tech tree, so I have no idea where your issue comes from.

@jarcast I found out what is causing my conflict. If I play with only the Community Patch component of Vox Populi and the Samnites enabled the tech screen becomes locked and unscrollable like this https://imgur.com/GGQANJk

It works with every other mod except the Samnites

@Player Two: I am not able to replicate your problem. Tech tree scrolling works fine to me. It must be a conflict between other mods you are using

When I play with this mod my technology screen becomes unscrollable and is stuck on the ancient era

The MT gives the benefit of an engineer specialist when garrisoned in city (the building "Meddis lodging" appears and gives production and points toward generation of GE, the MT doesn't become a GE all of sudden) OR increase the speed of an active working unit (i.e. a usual worker or a legio linteata constructing a camp/pasture) when on the same tile .
It seems quite obvious that either you put it in a city or on a tile with a worker, and if you do one you cannot have also the effect of the other.

Or with +1 science and not +2 production. The description does not inform correctly about it functions. Toutiks can't also stand on the same tile to doulbes speed of a WU.

The garnisoned Toutiks can't do anything. And as I understand your desription it should be able to hurry up production. I wanted to use it for the Great Library - but it does not work.:steamsad:

@Hernici Try unsubscribe and subscribe again or download the mod from direct link and unzip in Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS folder.

@supercrevette Thanks for informing me. I checked the code and I noticed I used a table available only when using Vox Populi mod. When such mod is absent the game gives a database error and won't load the code that's below, i.e. the unique components and the settler. I will upload a fixed version asap :)
