kind of like enter the gungeons shotgun shell that shoots shotguns that shoot shotgun shells

It's like they already belonged in the game.
Someone made a Novakid ship reskin named the Big Iron which has a Railway Cannon (Which doesnt work) which would shoot a shell which could blow up a small ship, and crack a station in half.
Wait til it get pass quality assurance (aka AT LEAST being SOMEWHAT playable)
Railguns are actually a real weapon which uses magnets in order to move a rod of metal at a stupidly high speed in order to pierce a object. Though shrinking them down would be hard.
These are Railgun themed melee or Railguns.

all the Rail Melee are just Railgun themed melee weaponry.
However, you may be looking for the Railgun which is being worked on still.
