Gotta make more save files incase that happens. One time in 70+ hours is stable. I recivied my first crash mid battle after 50 hours.

ErikaWani, i believ that stronghold of the samourai castle implemented the moss castle, SOTS MOSS AND MOSS map are not compatible together i beleieve it is the one or the other. BUT problme with SOTS are the fact that units may appears in ground sometimes and u can t ffinish battle due do that

ok so it turns out there were problems with the maps "mountain 1", "mountain 2", "mountain 3", and the "plains" map. The rest work fine (I think).

Using either the SOTS MoSS maps or the MoSS maps cause ctd on startup for me. How to fix this?

Nvmd, found the issue

"Rubaboo" Why do my fleets cannot move?

This file MoSS_FIX_if_it_crash_end_turn_use_one_turn(naval), is only for a weird case of end turn. Only use it for an end turn that is crashing." -Engineer Weierstrass

Anyone else having issues with navies having no movement points? Seems like the AI have this issue too, seen more than once a full stack just sitting in harbour for multiple turns

For anyone having trouble loading the game with this mod: There is an easy fix: "AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2" -> delete everything in there and verify integrity of the shogun 2 installation afterward.

@Dra-san building a ranged dojo didn't make Yumi Sohei unit recruitment available.

Any idea what can be done to make them recruitable?

I think it was that you needed the bow dojo and the shrine for it if i'm not complelty wrong, don't be mad if i am because i haven't touched MoSS in quite a while

Hi, what do I need to do in order to recruit Yumi Sohei units (e.g. infranty bow warrior monks)? I had the research, but none of the shrine building improvements seem to allow their recruitment

@eldar1205 Question: some buildings have stats like "1 melee attack for all samurai units" or "+1 moral for all cavalry" - does this really apply to all samurai units, or just to ones recruited in that province ------> well you answered yourself if i remember correctly it just applies to the units recruited there and about the +1 to units available it applies to the universal cap on your faction ie it's global because you can't make a regional cap on castles

@BlackDiamond yeah it is multiplayer compatible if the other people have the same load order and mods than you, yeah that means they gotta have the same literal freaking order in the mod manager where you enable the mods, if they have a mod you don't have even if they don't enable it the game won't let you join or your friend join

It seems overpowered to have a global attack bonus regardless of where the encampment is placed. I also ask the same for stats like "+1 to ... units available" - does this apply to global unit cap for the mentioned type of units?

Hey, can you do a compatch mod with the 10th anniversary units and sashimono mod? Their models looks amazing, and it partially works. But some units are not changed. Perhaps I may yet dream that you'll answer, venerable sire?

Hello! Good job on the mod, but i have stumbled upon some issues playing as Ikko - amount of skill points for Ikko monk is not enough to max out his skill tree (i mean to get top tier skill, not all of them).
Also, is it by design or not, but it seems that buddhist/hachiman/inari temple buildings does not allow sohei recruitment, only naginata nuns. Are sohei have specific clan restriction in new update?
It would be nice to have some answers about these issues. Thanks.

I really likes this mod and the changes It made. Had Fun with It but there have been a few frustating things in my campaign: playing on hard and I noted that inferior enemy units such as Ashigaru militia could do a lot of damage and even rout my normal Yari Ashigaru when not in Yari Wall, and even in Yari Wall they would receive a fair ammount of casualties. I like that combat isn't rock, papers and scissors anymore, but it's really hard to continue your progress and hold castles at the same time when the enemy can recruit a lot of these units, together with a good number of samurai. I agree the AI should receive bonuses, especially on Hard, but it's really hardcore when even the milita can do a good deal of damage to my good units, but I guess that's the randomness of warfare and the point of the mod is to make the game harder. If anyone have a few goods tips, I would appreciate.

hey this mod is the best ive tried tho ive found some units which have both guns and melee weapons ( as in melee primary weapons ) which use matchlocks have the arrow abilitys , mainly the gozens hime heroines , which use matchlocks , but have the high volley ability and whistle arrows ( which when activated shoots arrows out of the matchlocks)

It was a mistake with MOSS and SOTS mods.
Do not enable both at the same time (It worked for me for a while but it ends crashing)

I cant attack manually any castle :S
Worked fine yesterday, crashed at launching due an update of other mod, uninstalled the other mod and now i cant siege anything :(
It's a shame because your mod should be on base game!

sengoku jidai is the recommended minimum. But all dlc add something. Specially saint and heroes and ikko

Hey, I'm trying to double the unit size. i've already changed the multiplier in the benchmark scripts, but it isn't changing anything in the game. Also, there is no "preferences script" in my shogun 2 folders, only benchmark preferences scripts. do you guys know what is wrong? i'm using Moss mod, of course... thanks in advance.

If you play as ODA, you start with a lot of general. Those general are real people and are in the history of japan @NECRO
