the bug master is way to much man, kills all my characters in one go. i tried to uninstall but the horde of formidable foes doesn't leave with the mod.

I say go for it. That was 2½ years ago and the author hasn't responded. Besides, a mod patch is different than a full mod re-upload or update. My understanding is that it should be perfectly acceptable to upload a small patch as long as it's just some tweaks to some values or some such that still require the original mod.

Awesome mod but there is just one thing.
Why make the bugmaster so OP? His tower is packed with elder scorpions, mega blood spiders etc. You can't even run into it, all the enemies block you there is no room for a fight.
I thought that it was me that set the squad multiplier too high or something but no, why not make it balanced for everyone? I don't want to cheese the game with masterwork crossbows...

there are more false scorpions in the desert now than there are skimmers with this mod and they are rarely alone.

still great mod tho

for me, vendors only sell non-color backpacks, which can't be equipped on colored pets. :(
does this need a compatibility patch with animal backpacks mod?

Hey mate. Im getting a lot of false scorps spawning in the great desert from this mod. By a lot i mean like 10 on one screen at one point, i see them more than skimmers.

Great mod. Love all the different colors of iron spiders. Would it be possible to update this so that the new colors of spiders (iron and security) are compatible with the robo packs from the tame beasties mod, as they currently cannot equip them.

Hey, not sure if this has to do with the mod or not. I have two green crabs bought at a Crab Raiders village, they are adults and the crab bags don't work on them. If I try to equip them on the bag slot it says "unable to equip item" or something along those lines.

@The Mountain, The False Scorpion at Admag must have spawned in the Spider Plains and made it's way north all the way to Admag. The false scorpion should not attack any other wildlife, as they share a faction.

This mod does indeed add in False Scorpions to various biomes.
Also, you should probably just run away if you see another false scorpion. At least until you are strong enough to not lose all your limbs and men. Pro tip^

Saw you were on so I thought I would check on this as well lol Is there something about False Scorpions in this mod? Had them pop up on my trip to great desert which seemed appropriate since skimmers are nearby anyway so I paid it no issue. But ran into it in Admag which was no issue really either but then I worried it may overwhelm other creatures rather easily. Just curious, was surprised to see them

If you are looking for all bonedog colors to be able to use bonedog bags, my mod Minor Factions Amplified utilizes the textures from this mod and the bonedog bag from another mod to allow all colors of bonedog to wear a bonedog backpack.

@TreadLightly77 I believe BabySitter was talking about Dog Backpack by Bspawn if you want to take a look, and bonedog is the animal in question. I personally do not know about the others.

so, tested many times. backpack doesnt work on any of these colours animals.
only works with vanilla colour.
i am still keeping the mod though, loving the colours

maybe add this point to description so theres no surprise disappointment?

@NekoWaffle, The colors are in no way random. They were specifically chosen for each individual animal and ensured to fit cleanly within their respective biome.

Are the different colors entirely random or do the depend on the biome in which the creature is found? For example, are most or all beak things in Vain the same color, but different than ones found it, say, Shem? Or would I find a multitude of colors for each region?

Ayo, can I ask you to make your mod compatible with bspawn's Dog backpack? The mod auther of that mod told me to ask you to merge this mod with his and just wants to be credited.

Otherwise I'll probably do it myself and release a patch if you don't have a problem with that.

So, for some bizarre reason Garrus that are not default color can't equip a pack. Bit of an issue if traders are only selling the colored versions.

@MasterCrumble, the blue crab only has a 1% spawn chance and the "zebra-looking thing" is actually a black version of a crimper, which will basically very rarely be seen as well.

Wow this is cool. I was thinking about doing the same thing but didn't have time to sit down and make it happen so I'm glad somebody made it and share it on the workshop. Good job man :D

Only wish you posted some close up shots of the creatures since it's hard to see what's included in the mod with that far away aerial shot.

So this adds colors, but keeps the default textures intact too? Like it's additions and not replacements. Some of them look a little goofy in the picture (like the zebra-looking thing, and the blue one under), but this might be niiiiiiiice.
