the great person bonus for districts from adjacent appeal does not work (for me). I tested it with the mentioned charming appeal, and also with breathtaking appeal for both adjacent tiles and the tile the district is placed on, and for both unowned tiles and owned tiles.

Okay, so it took me fucking forever, but I'm actually playing with this civ and I notice that the encampment appeal bonus does not actually increase the appeal of those forests. It only cancels the -1 base appeal from the encampment itself, so they still have the same appeal as before the encampment was built. Is that the intent?

Hey, the Units.artdef folder references the Quickstinger from the Comanche instead of the Carbanto/Teulu, that might be why the Teulu appears as a warrior.

I've just noticed that this mod gets tagged in the mod manager as a cosmetic/UI mod instead of a gameplay mod. That seems... problematic.

Generally I don’t respond, but I do take note - I have stuff to do outside of civ modding, and this is a hobby I do when I have the time to. I do try to fix issues, but if it can’t be instant, that’s only because I don’t get paid to do this and can’t spend a significant amount of my time on it. I am a person, I have real life stuff to do beyond modding. All of that stuff that seems to need restating.

@Squiggles - are you aware that modders do their thing for free so that we can enjoy the fruits of their labours? If you don't feel you're getting what you paid the modder for then I suggest you fix it yourself and post only the files that you edit on github, like one or two other people have done.

Yeah, if anyone wants to download this mod for Boudicca, it seems people have been informing the developer of the mod not working for a while, and still, it doesn't have things like TSL, yet it says it supports YnAMP. If you are not going to respond to the issues, at least display them in the description.

Would be very nice if the bonus to culture from appeal were working properly, sadly not so it loose all the benefit.

Wellp, that was my reasoning for it. I'm stumped until the mod maker comes back, if they ever do. I only know a little about modding this game and can only really edit previous works for personal use so I'm entirely stumped.

@Neonhigh - the mod uses SQL files for the most part, rather than XML. That's not why the UA isn't working.

From my limited experience with modding, it's probably something like "syntax error near ,". :steamsad:

I think it's because the mod doesn't actually have any of the XML files in the mod directory. I'm assuming that's why all the UA and other traits and what-not aren't working, because the game isn't picking them up. I'm not sure if it's a steam issue or wut, but.

Tried starting a Giant Earth YNaMP map game, and spawned in South America. Not sure if you have the starting position set for that particular map.

I like the ideas in this Civ, but I'm only getting +1 Culture on my Forest tiles whether they're Charming or Breathtaking, instead of +1 Culture per two positive appeal points. Like the other comments, I'm also not getting the extra GPP from adjacent high appeal tiles.

Absolutely loved this when I saw it, couldn't wait to try it. I built a Holy Site, three breathtaking, three charming around it, still was only earning 1 GP point per turn. Figured you'd want to know. Only other mod I had going was Better World to really boost those forests.

My Teulu don't seem to be getting Faith or Great General points from pillaging. They're also getting built with a free promotion.

I had a science district adjacent to 3 charming and 3 breathtaking tiles, but only had a total of 3 great scientist points per turn. Assuming breathtaking don't count at all, it should have been 4 points per turn (3 tiles and 1 from the district itself).
